Sick of it. This Alliance player is boycotting random BG's

That’s not a faction exclusive thing

The good ol’ saying goes “Actions speak louder than words”

My words are nothing more than just an advocate for what my actions do!

Obviously not

I’m all for this, at all levels.

Sometimes, it does feel like you “always lose” @OP, but I’m finding that it does matter when you play. I haven’t quite got the pattern figured out, but there are definitely times that are better than others.

I hit a bad streak the other night. I typed “these premades are a pain” and was about to type “let’s make some of our own” but before I could, HORDE WINS popped on the screen. I just had to laugh.

Might want to see if you can find anyone else to group with, before just giving up entirely.

Even on my lowbie, I’m exactly 50/50. Monday night was very bad though :joy:

Alliance almost always wins WSG, TP, Temple and those are the ones that pop the most.

I stopped queuing for random BG’s as horde, we actually got GY camped yesterday in warsong.

Horde still does win the majority of epics though.

The grass isn’t always greener.

Also, as some mentioned, look at the gear of the players on your team while waiting for the timer and BG to begin.

If the majority of your team mates have 120k health, then they are fresh 120 wastes of space hoping you will carry them, don’t count on the win. There should be a minimum ilvl to join bg’s at end game. ilvl 360 minimum.

You realize that 360 is the iLvl given out at the end of BGs for wins?

I am over quing on my level 22 Mage to see a random BG filled with twinks and Alliance losing to 1 and 2 shots.

Wasn’t the big gripe that they separated the twinks from the gen. pop. of BGs and they weren’t getting queues?

I am SICK and TIRED of learning about things like Horde racials getting so buffed that Orcs can 1 shot a brand new level 120.

Explain? Wasn’t aware of any orc buffs. I would suspect that you got dog piled by multiple orcs or your got crushed by one that was very geared.

I am SICK and tired of Horde being overly rewarded for win after win after win which only widens the gap.

I mean if they win they should get rewards?

I started the expansion as horde but hate the city and honestly got sick of playing red side. Switched all my dudes over to alliance and haven’t noticed much in the way of disparity in the world or in BGs. Ladder swings mostly Horde but the representation is definitely more split than in other expansions (MoP → Horde Dominant, WoD → Alliance)

Feel like this may be projecting rather than reflecting

Fresh 120’s get 1-2 shotted ALL THE TIME. I’ve said it before, but I shouldn’t get queued with someone who just dinged. Even with the worthless item scaling at max level, they still barely stand a chance.

oooo the callout!

Literally just got into a BG and 2 players have 77k HP.

I never understand the logic of this argument. What imbalance, should they fix? The only “imbalance” in BGs, is queue times of horde vs alliance.

Once the BG is starts, there’s (usually) an even number of players, and barring any drastic healer imbalance, it’s an even playing field.

So the argument is basically, fix the alliances lack of skill, which is something Blizzard cannot do.

They can’t make you win more, or make the horde lose more. To do this they would have to directly interfere with games by giving advantages to one side or the other. Which is something they won’t do.

I know people throw the term around as a joke or insult, but alliance really does need to “git gud”

Not in my games, I do try and run the flag though. I’m pretty decent and tricky at it.

This I’ll agree with. I probably have the worst win rate on this one, most Horde pugs don’t understand how the scoring works.

I saw a pally with 54k hp yesterday and it got to the point where our entire team laughed at the guy and was trolling the hell out of him killed e1 on the team cept him and just cced him all game

It makes me smile when I see the enemy team zerg the sub 100k hp player. It doesn’t matter if they’re trying to hide in the back they will still zerg them.

When I was a druid back in legion, I used to win the WSG and TP all the time because I would dedicate myself to run the flag. Now adays, you see druids just fighting in the mid rather than being usefull

Hardly anyone plays their role anymore. Everyone is just in it for the kills. Go play Wpvp with that crap.

Go in and play d. The wins aren’t easy.

Are battle groups still a thing or did they scrap that? Cause different battlegroups used to have better performance on one faction or the other.

A lot of times I find alliance doesn’t operate as a team and communicate. They scatter too thin and depending on the night I’ll call it quits after 4 massive loses. That said, I’ve seen horde have similar issues although feels less frequent. Doesn’t seem fun to win or lose nearly 1500 to 0. Don’t think it’s a blizzard issue though.

I’d argue for bringing back proper attainable pvp gear though instead of having people just bringing their 400+ raid / mythic+ pve gear and stomping people that shouldn’t be considered under geared. shrug
