Have you tried turning chaos bolt off and then on? Maybe then rogues wouldn’t be such an issue

OP is talking about a random battleground. I can kill someone in 15s of free action, but given how hectic random BGs are I highly doubt the ideal circumstances to do so were present.
My personal experience in battlegrounds has been the moment I’m out of stealth to start a fight is when I suddenly find myself in a very unfavourable scenario.
You can be killed much faster by chaos bolting warlocks

Just go destro and 2 shot the rogue in a coil. Dunno why you’d even try to play aff in its current state, especially when destro is so broken.

Must be hard not being able to cast that .5 sec chaos bolt off that hits for 800k.
Its funny how godly affliction felt in pvp in legion compared to how garbo it feels now. Pendulums be swinging hard in the class development sector.

That doesn’t make that statement not funny.
You cannot be an aff warlock right now and expect not getting smacked around in PvP. I main warlock and while I absolutely love aff as a spec, it’s absolutely useless compared to destro. I was forced to switch and it feels pretty damn great to play destro. Rogues can give me some grief still but I’ve more often than not come out on top. Destro is super strong right now and our kit is amazing, especially if you can snag a few of those rank 3 expedients too
