Shutting Down The Forums Would Be A Smart Move

At least with GD bliz can contain the negativity a little, imagine if it all spilled out into the wild.

They can in shifts but the pay would have to be good.

Imagine a person run to a group of people at a party saying the wood on fire ,they look at him and see no signs of one …until 3minutes later the fire wipe to them. That’s how fast negativity works it grows. Op isn’t helping in this regrade but the flames are shooting all from one source she was ignored.

Tell Reddit that. If you’re dissatisfied with the forum why are you here even posting a topic guaranteed to get a few people up in the negative space? Geez. Kinda low.

Hey, btw I’ve seen many topics on game. I don’t see negative in all the posts. I guess it’s what you bring with you when you read.

You don’t think Blizzard would love to shut down the forums?

No,it pays back with customers that’s how they find out how many players are active.

They do read the forums, developers just don’t post because it causes threads to become derailed, at least that is what I was told by a green a few years ago. I also heard that they communicate on Twitter, but not all of them do. One of them indicated that she would prefer not to talk about the game she is developing.

I would personally like to see Blizzard communicating more with World of Warcraft subscribers regardless of the drawbacks. I would also like to see the new leaders of the company put out a statement to loyal subscribers thanking them and reassuring them, that would be very helpful. What people don’t want to hear is anything from Activision or Bobby Kotick.

I can think of all kinds of things they can say or do that would be very helpful, but I also think it is very unlikely for them to say anything.

You act like Blizzard communicating more on the forums would be like people disturbing wild animals in their natural habitats.

No wonder they are failing!

Let’s face the facts, there are alot of rude people here and some of them are a challenge to deal with. I can understand someone not wanting to deal with that crap, but I also think an actual dialogue is needed.

i think a forum for negativity is good.

if ppl dont let it out it festers within them and grows even bigger!

doesnt stop the devs from thinking they are always right and the community is wrong at the end of the day. blizz tends to have that “holier than thou” attitude towards everything anyways. ironic considering recent events but w/e lol

hell maybe the forums need even more negativity
