Ok so apparently this was rating boosting teams…I saw another thread addressing this in 2024. But I just had this happen to me like not even 15 minutes ago, I’m afraid to que!
I don’t know if I can say names, but I have it recorded in my ArenaAnalytics addon. A shaman in 2 games I was in, I had to report him. The Shaman, quite literally stood in the center of the room and everyone involved caught on and just made the arena a draw to avoid tanking anyone’s rating.
Then an Evoker and a Fire mage show up in a brand new shuffle and the evoker stands for 5 games and then starts playing when he’s on partnered with the fire mage. If I didn’t polymorph the fire mage and keep him interrupted, I would’ve tanked my rating. We found out they were win trading because the druid, myself and the priest noticed the pattern. I can even show every game he died where the Fire mage was winning via ArenaAnalytics. The poor priest lost rating because of him for 5/6 games!

Why do people in the PVP forums specifically always defend win trading??? I’m starting to think blizzard has a free ban list because all of you just show up and say things like this.
Like no, I’m sorry, but when someone is purposely dying and not contributing while the other person is on the opposite team only to perform right when they’re partnered… that’s clearly win-trading. That’s a person being paid to carry another individual, a person que-syncing to purposely carry. They do it late night on NA too because they know the queue’s are small.
Starting to realize why PVP as a game mode is dying…Blizzard neglects it, the players are toxic, and on top of it all? There’s RMT/GDKP involved.
its not defending, it’s pointing out the rating you’re at and how clueless/mentally unstable the gamers in that spot are. fix your attitude and you would probably climb
My attitude for what? I made a thread detailing a specific experience and even have proof of it via my Arena Analytics addon…You’re the one who decided to look at my stats and call me a liar. When I have proof of it happening! I even reported these individuals.
It is defending, because I literally explained in detail how it happened. Everyone involved witnessed it. Myself and the 2 healers. The rating I’m at makes no difference to win trading, because that’s what they’re doing. They’re win trading to climb…they have to que with someone like me along the way to do that.
See? I blocked out their names because I don’t know if I would get banned sharing them, but see how the mage has the most wins and the Evoker had the most deaths? Evoker died every round he was against the mage on purpose, the final round is when I sheeped the mage and won due to the evoker dying. The evoker dies in those rounds within 20 seconds…he literally stood there and let myself and the fire mage kill him when we were partnered in round 4 and 5.
Notice how the last round, he actually played the game and lasted longer than 20 seconds. He was win trading with the mage.

The ret goes 5-1, the evoker goes 1-5. Both healers go 3-3, you go 4-2, and the other mage goes 2-4. What you are saying is happening is entirely different from what is actually happening.
No he did not. He beat the other mage once and lost with him once. Giving a person 2 losses is not wintrading for them.
He wasn’t, or he wouldn’t have gone 1-5 and the mage gone 2-4.
This just looks like low rated play with bad healers and dps who dont use defensives or position well.
He didn’t though. He didn’t move until the last round. He would literally sit there at the entrance of the arena on his side and let himself die. That’s why he would die in 20 seconds.
He died the first 3 rounds, the next 2 he also died, and the last one he played with the mage which is why it lasts for more than 20 seconds.
This is the defense of all time because both healers were decent or I would’ve died easily. Not to mention, I use my defensives. Personally.
Part of the reason why nobody thinks what you’re experiencing is wintrading, is because people wintrade for rewards and rating, but there are no significant rewards that you can get from wintrading at 1400 rating. And as mentioned by others, it would be incredibly difficult to set up wintrading at 1400cr as there are too many players at that rating.

Not when 2 mages, a fire mage and a frost mage using ray of frost are literally killing the evoker who is standing there.
I didn’t record my screen, that’s why I have this addon! So I can record my match history and show it to people like you. But apparently I’m still a liar when the proof is RIGHT THERE with the time stamps and everything!!
