As far as we can tell, bumping doesn’t affect bug priority at all.
The only obvious correlation seems to be how new the broken content is. A new feature gets fixed pretty quickly, probably on the (reasonable) assumption that new content is what the majority of the player base is trying to run.
Old content, OTOH, is probably assumed to be of interest to only a small minority of players, so will get lower priority.
Other bug reports in old content have been bumped for literally years without fixing.
