Having a discussion here, was not making a formal suggestion as I already know this.
Normally people add their thoughts to conversations, that’s how conversations work.
That’s not what this forum is for. No one on this forum can make changes you want. Nor will the blues here will pass this along, as well with the fact that the folks who handle the forums, as in the ones who handle the back end of stuff, don’t come to the cs forum for feedback.
What I did for the DS forum post is I put (dot) between the address name and com. Pretty decent workaround.
There’s a much cleaner way to post links before reaching a required TL. In the toolbar of the reply UI, there is a </> button (called “Preformatted text”).
Once you have the URL typed out, highlight it all and press that button. It will look like this example when posted:
https://starcraft.com/en-us/
As you can see, it allows for properly formatted URLs that can be copy and pasted (just like in the old forums). And it can be done at any TL.
