Blizz,
Throw us a bone here. You made these shoulder ‘runes’ or enchants you rather call them, but we have no way to interact with these besides manually clicking items.
For example; If i have a t3 shoulders with the evocation immune to damage set bonus, then there is no way to macro in to switch back to my t3 shoulders with the igniter set bonus…
why please fix this… normally we have /equip item:<item_id>:<enchant_id>, this doesnt work. Addons are unable to determine how to do this either.
Please help
The Equipment Manager would be a nice tool to bringer over from Cata.
So basically what I’m reading is:
“I have to actually click on things and my addons can’t do it for me, please fix this!”
Is that the gist of it?
If you’re just swapping between 2 you could use bag slot in macro:
#showtooltip
/equip 4 1
/equip 4 1 equips the item from bag 4, slot 1 (your leftmost bag, first slot). So you’ll have to put your shoulders in that slot of your bag, or adjust the macro to use another bag slot.
Since you already have shoulders equipped, it will automatically swaps your current shoulders into that bag slot.
So taping the macro will alternative them back and forth
This is interesting solution as a work around, but it would be still nice to have this not be a thing…
Just use key bindings in itemrack?
itemrack is not able to pick up the shoulder enchants. so its impossible to tell which item is set and it breaks instantly if you have say 2x frostfire shoulders and one with evoker and one with torcher
