May not be something they can give. Sometimes silence, until you can present something and then a mea culpa for taking so long, is a better option.
We honestly have no idea what they have in store for us, and I’m ok waiting for something complete than something half… butted.
The problem with waiting is it reduces the amount of time for feedback and fixing things that aren’t working right. The closer to expansion launch we get the more half baked any changes will be.
If they have major changes they need to put them out now so there’s actually time to collect feedback and fix things.

to be fair, enhancement has’nt felt right to me, since they took away searing and magma totems from it. i know, it’s supposed to be the melee spec, and searing totem was’nt that good, etc, etc, i’ve heard it before…
but without them, enhancement does’nt feel right to me. i still remember my combo of abilities back in WoD. flame shock, lava lash it into the other mobs, stormstrike, magma or searing totem (depending on how many mobs) then lightning bolt/chain lightning to until stormstrike procs, then spirit wolves/elementals (if i don’t wanna deal with mobs while questing, or if we’re fighting a boss).
without magma totem’s aoe, i’ve felt useless in groups as enhancement, same for searing totem (just for single-target encounters when you don’t wanna aggro stuff).

If you find it painfully boring then shelf it, i love ele, and while i have my gripes on qol aspects and some glaring issues, i doubt the devs are going to sway away distinct playstyles theyve created for the class even with a full rework.
The new totemic hero totem is essentially magma 2.0
What do you make of the Shaman forums only getting an official feedback thread on one hero talent tree?

The better option is to simply not think, worry, and pay attention to patch notes and hype about expansions. It doesn’t matter to me what Blizzard is going to do. They will do what they want for the class regardless of what we say. All you can do is either accept it and play the class/spec or don’t.

I’m certainly ready to re-roll. The class has just felt dead in the water to me since Legion. If I’m going to stay healer for TWW, I’m thinking either Priest or Druid. For DPS, probably Warrior or Warlock.
The lackluster Hero Talents and zero response to the Shaman forums feedback just has me convinced they don’t care about or don’t know what to do with the class.

A above mountain, mountain thane.
It’s the better enhance and does actual stormstrike damage.
It’s also guaranteed to actually get dev attention.
Idk bud I’ve been having a ton of fun in pvp 
maybe try that out? I’d be bored too casting my rotation on the same pack of target dummies over and over in the same dungeon until I get sad 
Imo totemic resto Sham sounds fun and is going to be op in group content, what do you mean? Maybe it’s become stale because you’ve just been playing shaman for too long and need something fresh to smell and taste, like try an outlaw rogue and spice things up.
I do love Resto in pvp. I just am really mad about the neglect. Hopefully i get over it soon.
I wouldn’t understand the neglect because I haven’t played shaman in over a year. So everything seems new to me and it definitely works well… for me.
My opinion is Totemic is the worst of the Hero Talents for Shaman. The effects on totems are lackluster. I also don’t like the idea of losing control of where Healing Rain gets placed. The only effect Totemic brings that I think is neat is being able the bounce Chain Heal off totems. The rest of the tree is just… meh.
Farseer is also pretty meh, but at least I don’t lose control of my spells. I just passively spawn spirits that toss out a small amount of healing alongside my own.
Stormbringer is okay. It could be better by making Tempest gain the same benefits from Elemental’s talent tree that Lightning Bolt gets and made Enhancement’s Stormstrike ability changed from pure physical to the new Stormstrike damage.
Also, lol at Outlaw, the jankiest spec in the game with one of the worst abilities in the game, imo. Roll the Bones is so dumb. Nah, if I ever wanted to play a Rogue… Assassin all the way.
So what you’re saying is you’re not very strongly engaged with the class, and you’re telling more enfranchised players how they should feel?

Shelved my elem shaman already. Decided to skip the frustration and just play one of the “favored” classes (the ones that get regular attention).
