This is a comically ridiculous idea. Blizzard could not just “delete” BfA and go back to Legion. The logistics of such a thing would cause far more harm than good; not that you’ve thought this through.

either or, I wouldn’t care. classes don’t really feel all that engaging… slow and sluggish.
not overly excited about any of the new zones or raids.
It can sell quickly and still die out.

I think BfA has serious problems… but there is NO sense in which having no expansion is better than having one with serious problems.

Right. You could safely argue that Activision kept their hands out of the good expansions, and just randomly meddled in the bad ones.
That is 100% feelings with no basis in fact.
If you’d like to bring up something based in facts, feel free. I can’t change how you feel, and I dont really plan to.

Do you want me to talk about how none of us know anything? Yet that apparently means we can make all the negative statements about WoW we want, and thats ok? Yet if you make a positive or neutral statement, it gets disregarded as “we just dont know”?

Nah. I rather them continue what they are doing, however, balance classes in this expansion for next and build more open world activities. They can still fix the Beta to make it more Decent than what it is.

Nah its 2 late now. Scrapping it is just a band aid over a number of long term issues catching up to Blizzard.
I would also point out, it was also the quickest to go down hill too. Maybe WoD had something to do with that, people actually gave that one a chance to get better, while BfA showed signs of WoD 2.0, so people were less inclined to stick around. Fastest to sell means nothing long term.
