Should the Tutorial give new players a proper introduction to chat usage?

To keep it short:
I’ve been in the newcomer chat since day1 and one thing that is forever present are new players that keep “chatting” with their group members in this channel since they don’t seem to recognize/understand that there are different channels with different members.

The biggest problem for the really new players is: The first channel they will ever chat in as default standard is the Newcomer Chat. And if you don’t clearly explain to them what the difference is between /1, /p, /s, /w and whatever channel number the newcomer chat is they will have big problems communicating within the leveling phase leading to confusion at best and perceived ignorance at worst which might result in them quiting before they ever got going.
Now maybe such a tutorial will stall their gameplay flow within the first hours especially when they don’t see a direct use of it immediately. Or you’d just keep a handy UI panel around for them, easy to access with clear instructions on how chat works. Especially when it comes to linking tooltips, quests etc. It would immensely improve on communication in the early hours.
I’ve run into many, many players over the years that had no clue how to /s or /w others and the different chat channels in general. In addition some finished the tutorial and never understood what the Hearthstone is good for.
Another big problem with the standard chat setup for newcomers: Services Chat is active by default.

2 major problems:
90% of all spammers (on large servers) are script bots that advertise boost communities (they never went away, devs stop ignoring this please).
A new player once entering a capital will have their chat pass by at light speed (on larger servers) and never recognize any other communication because chat is just one tab for them and the services chat is a default. Also: Chat color is standard for all major channels. A bit of differentiation would help: general, newcomer, etc different colors.

And no new/trial char should ever be able to access services chat.
New players don’t need boosts and 99% of all boosts are targeting lvl70 players and are spammed by script bots anyway that are also trial chars and face no real consequences for their account.

Devs, take this to heart and act on it. It is just atrocious. Never got to rant on it during my CC days because that membership ended with no prior notice.
