Shadow apparitions do so much damage on Beta because the tier set is a 1.4X MULTIPLIER to their damage. What the hell happens when the tier set is gone?
Common sense would be to nerf the tier set to like 10% or 20%. Not gut the baseline spec.

even in prepatch apparitions are like top 5 dmg for me. I know it’s prepatch but it highlights the current amount of dmg before apex talents kick in. So it makes a little sense plus it’s only the dmg applied to targets with madness right?
You’re not wrong. But we are 2 lesser patches and one major patch away from that problem, not including any mid season adjustments that might be made.
Not saying it’s wrong to think about this, but you’re looking at a cliff that is a 6 hour drive away. Plenty of time to turn.
Yeah, check the beta forums, people more knowledgeable than me have brought up this issue for a while.
Shadow priest single target is in the gutter and nerfing the talent that doubles apparition damage to SINGLE targets was not the way. Whole point of this post.
Agree, They should also considering making some of the talents baseline instead of just having the bloat the tree.
Completely agree, a 50% nerf to apparitions is ghastly.
