im unstoppable in this 226 gear, its A LOT of fun. i’ve had several horde make a character on my server just to pm me after I one shot them. its intoxicating how humorous i find it when that happens.

now that im done gearing i try to always help guildies and friends with whatever they need.
it can be conquest capping or simply helping someones low geared alt get 1400.
also running rbgs is fun thats usually my go to when i log in. first i do a regular bg to warm up maybe a duel or two. I also enjoy running 3 dps 3s. its hilarious. my guild has a raiding night and a mythic plus night. and i have a warrior alt thats horde.
its my first expansion but there’s definitely A LOT to do for fun.

Uh, yeah. No crap they do it now. That’s exactly my point. I don’t know how you think incentives for wpvp in today’s game would even remotely emulate what classic or vanilla is/was like. It’s not even close. They already had pvp quests for ally’s and that’s all that happened. Not quality pvp at all. Just constant spawn killing. If you want to enjoy the random gank and be rewarded for it (besides with honor), how much do you expect to truly be given for killing one random person who’s likely just questing? I mean be realistic.
Arena are far more “fair” in the sense that both teams have prep, know what they’re going up against, and have a dedicated arena to fight in. You can make jokes about balance all you want but to say an arena match isn’t more fair than a wpvp encounter is simply ignorant. You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing.
And there isn’t “no other alternative.” Bgs are an alternative for arena. That’s where all the other bad players go who can’t get rating in more isolated circumstances.
I’m not opposed to more options of getting honor or conquest or whatever, I don’t care. But if you wanna come insulting people over realizations then take off the glasses. The “rewards” for wpvp would take FOREVER to get anything of value. Wpvp simply isn’t what it used to be for a multitude of reasons. I’d rather not explain to you why.
technically there’s nothing stopping you from wpvping for gear it’s 16 honor for kill.
