Should have asked Alliance players what allied races they wanted

idk if i wanna race/sex change my draenei shaman into a kt shaman lady. but i want one of those too. i’m trying to space it out to decide what i want to race change most instead of changing literally all my alliance that can be kt into kt. XD

Changin’ ‘em all into Kul Tiran doesn’t seem like a bad idea to me. I was ‘this’ close to race changin’ my NE Druid into one, but decided to level up a fresh boy for the heritage armour.

My theme song for when I’m cruisin’ 'round as a Kul Tiran;

i need to level something for heritage too. i have a dk lady that i’m leveling with a friend. i think she’ll be who gets me the heritage.

you like kt, and goblins, you seem to be a man of good taste.

Wrong. What I wrote is blatantly correct. You are just reciting more correlation. Once again you assume a player is either Horde or Alliance. THAT is where you fail to grasp the significance of any imbalance. Dig deeper. Citing the same information over and over is ludicrous.

Lol as you’re playing a Zandalari Troll, please get lost

Historically, Allied Races mostly have always been minimally played in the grand percentile.

And the imbalance is kind of the reason why allied races for alliance are even LESS played.

Horde are just more active, and aside from Vulpera, and maybe Zandalari Trolls, Horde Allied Races are also kind of low on the played percentile.

So I’m not sure if you really make a good argument either way lol

“Me and my friend love Mechagnomes, Lightforged, Kul Tirans and Dark Iron Dwarves, which clearly means you’re wrong, op. And have you seen how those cogs on the mechagnomes spin? Heaps of work put into them. Their low play count and the general disliking towards those races don’t mean anything.” People are defending this? Lol. We all know exactly why these races are the least played. Op is right. Give us something better next time please, Blizzard.

When it comes to the GD forums? You’re absolutely right, pal.

Yeah, and it’s definitely not apparent in the game either. All those people that play our dead ARs only appear at the late hours of the night, and then they delete their characters after playing with them for a bit.

Yeah, yeah. Sure, sure. Right.

Because the vast majority are. The game supports playing a single main character, and to do that you have to pick a side. And if you want to support that main with alts on professions, they have to be on the same faction. Sure, everyone has alts on the other faction - I have a 120 Horde character too. Doesn’t mean I play her in anything serious, nor am I willing to invest equal time to the other side when I’ve an army of alts with maxed on professions and millions of gold on the blue side.

Factions barely matter for PvP at all.

Void Elves.

Night Elves. They use the same skeleton.

Draenei.

Draenei

Kul Tirans look pretty vrykul-like.

Also your faction isn’t dying.

Do understand Horde didn’t get great Allied Races either.

We got:

  • Highmountain Tauren - Literally just tauren with moose horns. I’d say they’re even with Lightforged.
  • Botched Nightborne - I’d say they’re even with Mechagnomes
  • Brown Orcs, who I’d say are pretty even with Dark Iron playerbase-request-wise
  • Zandalari - even with Kul Tirans I’d say. They both have a lot of substance behind their races.
  • Vulpera - Even with Void Elves

The factions are relatively even with Allied Races. My only hope is that the Shadowlands races become playable and remain Neutral, allowing the player to make up their own backstory and go the faction they think their character belonged to (or defected to) in life.

Well OP…it’s because Blizz hates Alliance and it’s playerbase, what other reason could there be?

Nightborne were the first of the four rushed ARs, and they’re easily the best. They have the most work put into them, which is why they turned out the way they did. Blizzard bit off more than they could chew with them. They’re more than just a simple reskin.

I would too, but it’s still exactly what you guys wanted.

This is exactly what you wanted and more. Blizzard should have given us all three major Dwarf clans, just like they did with the Mag’har.

I agree with the substance thing, but they still weren’t requested. The basically non-existent threads asking for them, the memes about them and low player numbers are proof.

Void Elves were designed to be played, and even then, Blizzard didn’t give us what we wanted. They didn’t exist before we could play them. They’re nothing like Vulpera. Vulpera have much more time and effort put into them and they actually existed before we could play them.

Weren’t you guys asking for Dark Iron Dwarves for years now?

Honestly, I’m hoping the added customization options coming for all original races in Shadowlands helps out a lot.

The little bit they showed us for Dwarves and Humans on the Alliance side got me pretty excited. Hoping there is a lot more variations to come.

Here’s hoping they really change up the looks for the Alliance to bring some appeal back to the faction.

TO OP - I have played Horde for years and no one asked me if I wanted a Goblin, NIghtbourne, Vulpera or additional copies of Orcs, Tauren or Trolls (really 1 of each is enough!) I don’t understand the rant. Don’t remember any of us getting the option to vote on which Allied Race we want.

Didn’t DI require The Motherlode? I think all the Alliance ones required at least one dungeon, while the Horde ones required none. I have all the Horde ones unlocked but not all the Alliance ones which is funny since I main alliance

Alliance should have thought about that before sending in purge squads against the Vulpera, a neutral race.

So tell me, why do they look like trash, have the least amount of customization options, and have barely anyone playing them? You used this argument for Kul Tirans, so tell me, why doesn’t it apply here?

I’m pretty sure everyone was asking for Lightforged and Highmountain Tauren at the end of Legion.

You… have Wildhammer. It’s called Shadowlands customization. I don’t know what you’re going on about.

Okay… but do you not remember people asking for body types? They’re not as big as a crowd as the Zandalari Fans. But they’re there.

You wanted the Blood Elf Model? You got the blood elf model. Void Elves are right there. Now you’re kind of going against your own argument now, going from how “substance put in doesn’t matter” to “substance matters.”

We’re pretty even allied race-wise. I’m not too big of a fan over any of the currently playable Allied Races. Zandalari are cool, but I’m only using one as placeholder in hopes Kyrian are made playable.
