It is a shame modders aredoing what blizzard should have done with reforged all along.
the orc campaign of wc2 remade to fit with current lore and the design of wc3 with hero units is done. The team is now working on the human campaign and then they will do the expansion beyond the dark portal.
There is another project closer associated with lorecraft designs working on wc1 as well but they are also doing the rise of the horde on draenor and doing draenei stuff.
rereforged is being worked on to bring us what reforged was originally pitched as with the campaign being updated to reflect the modern lore and additional story.
Now we just need someone to make a rise of the scarlet crusade campaign as I believe that is the last missing link to connect end of wc3 to classic.
