The major issue about that was the fight timers, extremely fitting for 1min SS and in conjunction with CoM.
Exactly, they are pretty much alike because a part of your heal still overheals. And spells increasing healing output doesn’t work for the shields (like divine hymn).
I personally don’t feel this because we need healing the entire fight. Is like adjusting the CD timer. For me, Revival and the evokers new CD are worst than shields. Revival snips everyone’s heals, and Rewind may be op because is based on damage received.
Yes, 2 seconds more than live (because evangelism is on the GCD), and now we’ll have light’s wrath too, without Shadow Word: Manipulation (Mindgames crit buff). It will remain the same.
I believe the adjustment comes from what this talent node brings. Both being shielding. If we pair rapture with Indemnity, it will be stronger because of atonement duration and rapture duration, and then penance CD with Make Amends. But again, this all depends on encounter design, that’s why disc only shined in 4 bosses now in Sepulcher
I guess you guys are right for evang + SS. Still, it’s a fun spell in concept…
I feel it could be fun to have during small ramps. Like making its effectiveness decrease the more atonement you have. So that you could get good values without covering the whole raid. This way, SS can coexist with evang while they don’t boost each other out so they aren’t used at the same time or something.
The whole problem of SS for most is the ‘whole raid’ coverage more than anything else…

I’m totally with you, right now I’m testing out a heavy shield build with aggressive dmg talents for atonement in PvP and it’s doing pretty well so far. I don’t even use flash heal and don’t take any of the talents that buff it.
