Should Contracts be changed to function like Wrath/Cata Tabbards?

As it stands, Contracts only appeal is that they last a week and provide targeted reputation gains for only one faction. The biggest and only problem being you only gain 10 per World Quest completed.

I came up with two potential ideas as to how this could be amended, per the title.

  1. Contracts as they are, upgraded to include rep gains from Dungeons/Raids.

  2. A new type of Contract called an Elite Contract. The Elite Contract functions like the Reputation Tabards.

-A net consequence would probably be both ideas require more mats, making them more expensive.

I would be all for this, but I think it would need to be a 7-14 day buff similar to current contracts

This would ensure that scribes have a good way to make gold.

Yep, my point exactly.

The fact that they last that long is the appeal.

Yes a tabard system is way better.

But these suggestions are great temporary fixes that Blizz can do right now.

Hence why I suggested them.

Should they work past exalted ?

That’s a good question, the Tabbard system was removed before Paragon was added.
