The game is extremely hard to play seriously as alliance, and with blizzard refusing to do anything about it I think the easiest route is just for them to allow a onetime free faction transfer. Imagine if you’re a new player and you decide to choose alliance because the races look better without knowing that the faction is dead for serious content, then you decide to take the game serious and find out you’re screwed…

What they really need to do is aggressively merge servers to get all those Alliance players (of which there are many) playing with each other.

I am surprised no one has said “this is a player problem, not a Blizzard problem” yet. Like they are completely unable to do anything.

Its actually a bit funny. The server merge at the start of shadowlands has made it so my server group which used to have 1 or 2 alliance gulids that stepped into mythic at a time has none for alliance now with the highest progressed alliance guild being 3/10 heroic. We had one horde guild that was well progressed before the merge, and now all the well progressed guilds are horde with 2 1/10 mythic and many of them are reasonably progressed through heroic at this point. Its nice not to need a server transer anymore just a faction one!
To the people belly aching, “once you’ve eaten the poison you might as well lick the plate.” It’d be nice if they just did something positive to address that most serious players are horde right now. Whether that be let everyone be horde, or just open up cross faction pve.
What else is there to do? Play the game?

It is a player problem.
There is nothing in the game right now to say the horde is the better faction. Other than the player base.
But as the owners of the game, its partly down to blizzard to fix it too. After all, it’s in their best interest all types of player are happy.

Just give alliance races +5% on all stats across the board and be done with it.

We have enough of you Alliance scum that have flooded into the Horde because “reasons”, we do t need no more.
If anything Blizzard should make Alliance a better choice for players to make over the long term.
