Specifically, I’m talking about keeping DPS classes that require a low button count and a simpler physical rotation requirement competitive so that people with very common disabilities in their hands (including but not restricted to repetitive strain injuries and arthritis) can access the parts of the game they want to access.
But you will, because you’re reading and replying to my every post. And all the effort you’re putting in to proving me wrong won’t stop my words from popping in to your head when you’re playing one day.
Exactly.
LEGALLY, Im ‘disabled’ because of this genetic thing I have going on.
REALISTICALLY it doesnt really stop me from doing anything at all. I golf. I can type pretty fast. I hike. I wont be running any sprints, but I dont need to, really.
But a friend of mine has a few things going on and is just as LEGALLY disabled as I am, but he is on a dozen medications, is slowly deteriorating…getting worse by the month…and without his meds cant even sit in a chair without his blood pressure dropping and passing out.
Exactly.
They hang on your every word then PRETEND they arent totally obsessed with you.
i got about 15 of them in here hanging on my every word. A fanbase, if you will lol.
Are BM hunters and DHs specs/classes you consider to have low button count? Genuinely curious, as I love playing with some BM hunters, they wreck stuff, at least in M+. To me, these are quite competitive as it is. In fact, I think all classes can be considered competitive enough. Nevertheless, I am still not seeing the connection to certain classes not able to access parts of the game.
For balancing purposes yes. Some people prefer more simple rotations so they can play better like current BM hunters. Others like more buttons and utility to help the group so they feel less bored like ret paladins. Over all player skill varies but they should all have the ability to hit upper level content if they put in the work. I believe this theory should be applied to all roles too. Faceroll Druid tank vs DH tanks with a ton of buttons is a great comparison of this.
I think what we’re talking about in context here, is SOME here want those ‘easy’ specs to be unable to get the DPS as the ‘harder’ ones…and we all know that would then make it impossible to get into high end content if your spec then CANT get enough damage to compete with others.
Yes it should. It’s not the player fault that the class is overtuned or undertuned. The player have to focus on what he or she likes to play, and Blizzard should focus on making the class fun. Everyone needs to do dmg, because if not the class/spec is not accepted in any content, and there’s always someone that likes to play with that unique class, meaning that it can be very frustating when that only class that the player likes can’t be played.
It’s all about how it feels, numbers change everytime.
What’s actually happening is you and someone else that don’t play at high end and have absolutely no experience or idea of what you’re talking about think a spec being 3-5% behind makes it not viable in high end.
There isn’t really a spec right now that isn’t viable in high end content so you both really don’t know what you’re talking about.
