Short pre patch...why...we wanted to have fun

People want to gear up shamans and pallies in naxx?
Oh dear thats dreadful sounding…
WHAT!?!?! people want to put good items on their toons?
Lord wont anyone think what this would do?
Its insane…
Do you hear yourself?

Hell if they just want to test things out the PTR is up right now. You can copy your characters over and start playing around with it.

I’m using it to play around with a level 58 of every class to see if I want to change my mind about getting a Draenei Shaman up to 60 in the pre-patch and play another class instead.

And you can still run Naxx on your Paladins and Shamans after prepatch, you can also still get Naxx gear on your Paladins and Shamans after prepatch…

Wanting to hold the rest of the playerbase hostage in prepatch just because your OCD won’t allow you to realize that people in actual TBC didn’t even get a 2 week head start to level let alone get Naxx gear lmao. Do you hear yourself retard?

I mean the Rank 14 PVP gear isn’t even good at level 70 and would be easily replaced (Heck it’s not even good when comparing to Naxx items). I think the main reason people wanted more time in pre-patch was to level Blood Elves & Draeni.

A lot of people were asking for prepatch and for a long extended prepatch, long before Blizzard even announced that leveling Dranei/Blood Elf would be possible during prepatch. Up until that point it wasn’t even clear if you could level Dranei or Blood Elf during prepatch.

And a lot of those demands/posts usually had the same kind of overtones where they were just seeking easy rank 14 gear through the currency system. At this point, a lot of people probably want extra time to level but a lot of people also still want to get welfare rank 14 gear on multiple alts to just play around with in battlegrounds/PvE too.

Either way, forcing everyone else just to wait for either is extremely selfish and childish. Nothing is stopping people from raiding Naxx after prepatch ends, people just shouldn’t be held hostage and expected to carry new alts in Naxx when they’d much rather just move on to TBC.

When you have your finger so perfectly on the pulse of every player and their desires… damn we got ourselves a real life soothsayer folks…
Why nostradomus himself has graced us with profound wisdom and insight and dont you dare question it…
Unless you’re t-trying to g-get epics on your toons?

You hate people having fun and gearing their toons?
Why tho?

You can still run Naxx after prepatch
You can still get level 60 epics after prepatch
You can still get the welfare rank 14 gear via currency after prepatch

Progressing past prepatch doesn’t stop you from doing any of those things. You have no point to make here.

Who is “we”? In English, the pronoun is “I”, not “we”. And what you want isn’t a goal for Blizzard.

There is no “why”. Blizzard doesn’t reply to what each customer wants, expects, imagines, or hopes for.

you will get 2 weeks and you will like it.

Because, games aren’t supposed to be fun!

But really it’s hypocritical.
They didn’t want people to rush to 60 to get the unarmored epic mounts, they viewed that as unfun and wanted people to enjoy the journey.
They didn’t want “new” people to feel rushed to be on par with their friends when the portal opens and gave them a boost.
Now, they give the new races 13 days to rush to 58 to join others in Outlands.
Yep Blizzard “cares” :+1:t4:

I’d probably clone a character on a prepatch forever server if they had one.

original tbc pre patch was 42 days, now we getting just 2 weeks

I suspect the forums would be even more upset by a 100% authentic pre-patch, as that would mean not being able to level Draenei or Blood Elves.

And JC turned off. Would be 1000% fine with it. And I’m honestly baffled why its a thing in the first place. A 4+ week prepatch turns into a 2 week headstart.

Let me spell it out for you in simple terms.
If they did nothing to the game, launched it in a working and enjoyable state…
Then the cash shop would make MORE money…
As it is now, guaranteed people put their wallets away as soon as some of the changes became apparent…

Namely the arena debacle.
