Shockadin: Sulfuras or Lok'amir?

Hi!

I’m trying to play Shockadin with my Holy Paladin but i’ve 1 question that i can’t asnwer.

My all gear is T2 and full spell power neck, cloak, rings and trinkets.
But, i don’t know if use Sulfuras or Lok’amir il Romantis with a spell power offhand for main weapon.

I think i’ll have more “burst” dmg with Lok’amir and the spell power offhand (Therazane’s Touch), but i’ll have more sustained dmg with Sulfuras.

What weapon is better for Shockadin?

I’ll play PvP and some Farm with it.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Sounds like a Sulfuras and a Lok’amir went to waste.

Sulfuras, obviously.

Already all my Guild have Lok’amir (Healers and caster that can use it), and nobody wants Sulfuras so… Avoid toxic comments pls.

Sounds like it would have been better to disenchant them.

If the Reckoning talent worked properly you could global people with Neretzek, SoR and lifestealing enchant because everything would have a chance to proc 5 times.

Paladin. . . most nerfed class before Wotlk even released.

edit: Even worse the weapon proc is not scaling with spellpower which it did in vanilla.

Why would you choose Sulfuras?

So you can flex on all those … uhhhh … Warriors who don’t have a Sulfuras.

Good point

legendary orange mace bis till naxx with corrupted ashbringer. that being said, dont get either when you can hold out for corrupted ashbringer.

to put it into context, ive had this stupid +31 healing hammer from brd since like week 2

I think i’ll go 2H weapon (Sulfuras or Corrupted Ashbringer, the one that i can get first).

My talents are 31/0/20, for what i read, are 2H shockadin talents.

Trust me: We don’t want it.

I’ll go 2h Weapon (Sulfuras or Corrupted Ashbringer if i can).

I’ve to have rings, necklace, cape and Spell power Trinkets equipped or is better a ret gear?

Can you prove this?

It’s not a toxic comment. He stated his opinion over you and possibly assuming you did something for that gear or not knowing your class, in a short phrase.

Do you know what toxic is?

Example: toxic game play
PvP: Afk in bg, ghost walk in bg, come in with rez sickness, and whatever for others to carry you. Which will fuel toxic communication and behavior.

In PVE ninja looting, corruption in LC, and whatever breeds more of such behavior.

Example toxic comments.
PvP: let them win, you all are blank suck

PVE: bigot comments and whatever that creates a environment that Is degrading.

He stating it was a waste. He possibly believed the reason you took both probably over toxic actions and not knowing what to do with them.
He was assuming but meh it’s his opinion.

If you’re a shockadin both are great plus You can swap. Being a healer you can stay to the rear heal and when the enemy tries to kill you, swap.

In my opinion shockadin is ok. Better than Paladins stacking AP or a warrior/Druid having hand of rag.

In my opinion.
Proc weapons are better in Paladins hands and a bonus if it stacks with sp dmg.

Lok is more of prot Paladin build ish but is good for healing spec as well. Same T2 is more for prot or ret build than holy. Still works though.

Rag is good for ret/holy build on sp dmg.
Better with T2.5

Two best proc weapons corrupted Ash-bringer and rag. Both stack with sp power.

If you stay shockadin you will want T3 with healing mace. This is only my opinion

So dmg does scale on fire and life steal proc not enchantments though.

Does holy shocks damage when used offensively scale with healing or spellpower?

If it’s spellpower you’re probably better off trying to snag a mageblade.

If it’s healing, lok for sure.

Both. If you’re fighting other melee, the lok + shield will probably serve you better. Don’t use a spellpower offhand.

If you’re fighting casters, or about to stun some folks etc, swap to the Sulfuras for higher melee damage.

People underestimate the value of armor in pvp. Its quite strong.
