I’d like to see more things like this. love is love and it would be nice to see World of Warcraft become World of Lovecraft - oh wait, that’s not right…
Well. Only if you consider the 1990s ‘new’
Hail Cthulhu!
Shipping has been great thus far but most likely will bog down with the holidays.
Eyes narrow, peering at OP
You couldn’t use a better term than “Shipping”??
Whoa. I totally went to google just now and put in “shipping in literature” and did not expect that! Learn something new every day
Thanks lol.
I don’t care about what a bunch of Tumblrinas get off to.
The first real shipping instance I can think of was Kirk/Spock for Star Trek the Original Series. Tumbler is way late to the party.
Personally, when it comes to the subject of “shipping” and whether it’s right or not, I truly believe . . . that Lilian Voss and Amalia Stone make such a cute* couple. The height difference is adorable.
* Well, maybe “cute” isn’t the right term for walking corpses but…
Shipping in moderation can be fun, but it’s generally a cancerous practice in fandoms where it gets taken way too seriously, especially by fujos.
The only shipping is concern myself with is my Amazon packages.
Okay, I’m old. What’s a “Fujo”?
Not my place to police the imagination of others.
It’s an anime thing where shipping is srs bsns.
Here’s googles def:
Fujoshi, which means “rotten girls” in Japanese, is a catchall term for a subset of anime and manga fans, often shortened to “ Fujo ”. The name is a play on words for the Japanese word “Fujoshi” which means “proper lady” written one way, but replacing the kanji for “fu” with the kanji for “rotten” or “fermented”.
Thank you. I could have googled it, but I’m having too much fun watching the servers not come back up
Such is life.
It’s fine as long as it’s the ships I want to happen.
Ah shipping, a story as old as time itself.
It doesn’t hurt anything for the fandom to ship characters (minus the psychopaths that take it way too far occasionally). The writers don’t even have to even acknowledge ships, it’s their choice (legally some teams can’t even look at fan content).
Ships are just something people in the fandom think is fun to make fan content for at the end of the day. That’s A-OK with me.
As much as I don’t ship them, I would love this because I’m a sucker for musicals. Also it would be funny and amazing.
(all words are made up)
I like shipping when it’s included in the price of the items I purchased. I really dislike when it’s 9.99 and the item I bought was only $5. That or, they say they’re giving you something for free, but you have to pay $14.99 more for shipping.
