Well yes, ideally. but some people are silly about it and claim some haircuts are their racial thing.
Though I do agree with some of the dwarven or gnome braiding.
This is why I have adamantly opposed things like lifting race/class restrictions and merging the factions: they lead to even more suggestions to have races degraded further and further into glorified Fortnite skins. It will never happen, anyway. Humans would look dumb with Dark Iron hair, goblins would look dumb with void elf hair, and if you play a race like vulpera who have no proper hair options at all, then the arrangement wouldn’t benefit you.
No other MMO runs on such a primitive engine while also having a massive selection of races that are unique in terms of appearances, backgrounds, living conditions, etc.

Yep, ironically, this has been confirmed right away here. Supposedly, one would degrade the races by offering them a significantly broader selection of hairstyles. What more can be said about that?

Originally, it seems that proper hairstyles for Worgen were planned. Since I find the whole model quite ugly, I don’t know how that would look, but some might find it appealing. 
I assume, however, that we are talking about ordinary hairstyles here, without special effects, specifically designed for humanoid races and not necessarily for the animalistic ones.
