It’s comically obvious how clueless this “creative” team is.
We’ve hit peak levels of cringe with almost everything they do, say and release at this point.

I don’t say this lightly or often but I legitimately might have just stopped playing if the nerf was kept. The last three weeks, in addition to our guild’s regularly scheduled Heroic raids, I’ve farmed as many bosses as possible on Normal and invested way too much time and effort in pugs just for dom shards and pieces (last week probably spent ten hours searching for a Fatescribe group in queue and wiping over and again in multiple failed groups). Had little luck initially but after killing 40 or so total bosses finally got the three Unholy shards and the set bonus thanks to taking a 226 Helm in my Vault over Heroic wrists and decent 252 M+ pieces - because it was +750 or so simmed DPS to do so. Felt cathartic, like all that work I put in during a busy time IRL had paid off and I could help my guild prog the latter bosses in Heroic and, soon, Mythic.
Then I found out the bonus was nerfed…almost completely invalidating my time and effort. It was a gut punch, and I lost all motivation to raid tonight or even to keep playing. What’s the point if any decision I make can/will be nullified at a moment’s notice and without official recognition or explanation from the devs? Pointless, especially given the Dom pieces and bonus are basically the selling point of the raid and what most prog raiders are relying on to get through the tougher fights (hell, some of us are even doing LFR for pieces…).
I still have the feeling of impending doom, waiting for the proverbial hammer to drop in the form of some sort of nerf. But at least tonight was fun.

It’s still getting nerfed. Just not this week.

The shards system is such a complete trash system and how anyone at blizzard thought it would be a fun and rewarding system is beyond me, at this point I’m convinced blizzard is being managed by complete smooth brained buttholes that just literally don’t care about making the game even remotely good.
For the past 2 years this game has been nothing but half assed system after half assed system

Everyone could see that the Unholy set bonus was likely getting nerfed. A 1,000 dps increase is just crazy.
