Vanilla - no sharding
Classic Demo - sharding everywhere
We also know what the devs have said.
Q: With CRZ and Phasing off the table for classic wow, how will you deal with population concerns?
A: Currently there is sharding on Classic WoW Demo, this is a special case. We understand sharding it antithetical to the feel of Classic WoW. But we may use sharding in the first couple weeks but we understand that doesn’t work well with World Firsts, etc.
Attempting to smash that square peg called Northshire Abby in to the round hole isn’t going to fool everyone.
I still think 1-20 on launch should be phased, just to cater to the INSANE rush of players I am expecting. Once server populations stabilise and the playerbase is distributed across the continents by zone/level they can pull it out. Either that or give a premium early access offer for those that want to buy in. I will happily pay to avoid queues/congested realms. In vanilla I intentionally chose a low pop realm so I didn’t have to queue up.
Lol you’re cute. Also you first said north shire is it’s own zone, which now you switched it to sub zone. So once again you’re wrong and you know it because you switched your own stance lol
