Shame on you Blizzard

Have you seen what they did to D4? It’s not just classic era, it’s a company wide thing.

In games you can mod, sound replacers can be a popular as slooty armour mods really.

After you hear the smae crap for 1000+ hours…change can be real good.

That wasn’t even well did you test this in beta, testers?

That game said lets do this…later. The beta was actually okay really.

Hmm didn’t use mail so can’t comment there.

As if I’d ever live in CA.

I like that I can send more than a single, unstacked item in the mail. That was a good change.

Just go play D4, or DI, or OW2, or WC3, or SC, or HOTS and see how they treat their other customers.

WoW, even classic, has by far the best support of any blizzard title. Unfortunately it still isn’t great.

I’m so excited for the token.

It will solve all our problems.

If that’s the case then it would be a wise business decision for Blizzard to not push huge game-breaking changes. Why not just leave it how it is or add small bits the teams can actually handle. I get wanting to add things to a game but if something’s not broken, don’t fix it.

ONLY the Options Interface was at PTR, Not changes to Character create screen, spellbook or talents.
And we were some speaking up against the options interface and the new shinies because it lagged, made the game chunky and unwieldy. Blizz could have at last tried to make it more Classic-like, more smooth and not ninja change the rest!

But they turned Classic WoW from World of Waraft to World of Micro transactions craft.

No changes means they can’t add MTX to everything, so there will absolutely be changes.

Try making a bandage.
Try trading someone.
Try resurrecting in a BG
Try… checking your mail.

There is a huge lag everywhere.

Addons are glitched- And it seems there are less boosters

Raid things we noticed this week-

Ouro doesn’t come out of his popcorn after 1st engagement

Paladin tier 3 - 6 set proc happens way less often

Some enemy’s are lagging in their reaction time to being attacked. (Maybe just lag in general)

That’s a good question - This was it for me. Like I told Acti-Blizz in the box asking “Why are you canceling your subscription?”; I can’t wait to see everyone that enjoys Vanilla WoW back to private servers.

The thing that gets me are all the people who are telling us that we’re whining, complaining about small, nonsensical things, etc. etc.

I have no interest in retail WoW and haven’t played the expansions for any significant amount of time since Cata. You don’t see me heading over to General Discussion for the game version these people enjoy and telling them what is or isn’t significant enough to complain about regarding their game.

I’d bet that the majority of the people not happy with the “small” changes made with this recent patch primarily play Classic Era as Vanilla WoW is their favorite game. And the people defending or trivializing the changes that were made, primarily play other games.

We were promised a true, authentic recreation of Vanilla WoW. There was a very real and very aggressive and very passionate pursuit on the path to that promise. They never delivered on that promise. Which is why I say your question “how much more are you guys going to take” is a good one. Because again and again, over and over again this company has stomped all over and spit in our faces all while asking for our money.

Tell me I’m being childish, making a mountain out of a mole hill - I don’t care. I’m a 30 yr old father of two beautiful children that are the most important part of my life now. But at one point in my life, as ridiculous as it sounds, WoW was the most important part of my life. The thing that I looked forward to the most. Bypassing my high school’s security software so I could load the game up on a school laptop with an external hard drive I’d bring to school with me. Good times.

And again, you’ll trivialize that as a pathetic nostalgia seeking attempt. That’s fine. But it’s even more simple than that, it’s my (and many others) favorite game and has been for many many years. And personally, not for a lack of trying other games. Something about Vanilla WoW always draws me back. And I’m sure it will again but Acti-Blizz won’t ever get money for it again.

TLDR of it I guess would be: It’s not JUST about the changes made with this patch. It’s everything that has been mishandled by this company on their “promise” to give us an authentic recreation of our favorite game. You play your favorite game. We’ll cancel our subscriptions and stop playing ours.

Take care, Azeroth! And good job Acti-Blizz for slowly implementing a different kind of Cataclysm to your game that so many are passionate about.

It’s not Blizzard, its Microsoft.

They didnt buy WoW to fix it and make it fun and playable. They saw a 20 year old game with thousands of idiots willing to pay for trash, bought it and now suckle the pennies while giving 0 shiettttts

Why not? It is shameful. Their quality control on Classic Era is absolutely shameful. They should be embarrassed and we should be shaming them. What they’ve pushed out would be absolutely unacceptable in an environment where the client comes first.

The only way we become first class customers being from Classic ERA is by removing ERA/Classic from the sub. Make a separate monthly rate just for classic and for expansion releases all over again. For ERA by itself make it a 40$ entry tag for up to level 20 and slap a 10$ monthly sub to fully unlock everything, call it a premium like runescape only more limited.

For classic progression they’d have to do a 30$ price tag per re released expansion and 15$ a month like retail.

Only then we’ll all become first class customers with reasonable reason for excellent customer support.
