Yeah, and that would be a warranted reason for the change, but they have given elemental no other rune we can use in the helm slot for boss damage.
Yea of course, but hey it could be worse…you could have a deadzone lol. I think for bosses where it won’t matter you’ll absolutely be running that Rune as ele. and stand right up the bosses behind…but for Bosses where Ranged needs to stay back you might be able to get away with a Melee weave whenever you Proc your instant Lava Burst etc…when you do I’d imagine you’d want to run in and try to proc the 30% Spell power buff. Then you’d run out.

Yeah, I’m aware that you can melee swing during a gcd etc. the point of what I’m saying is it’s a ridiculously stupid gameplay, like they went out of their way to stop ele and Resto using rockbiter only for them to make us forced to use rockbiter once again, and on top of that have to melee swing the boss every 10 seconds. Not a single elemental player chose ele so they could melee weave every 10 seconds when there is a literal melee spec
idc i never really pvpd with enh shams. i just enjoy seeing fotms get gutted. because the people who chase them deserve it.
Yea I agree, I think they should have provided a legitimate Single Target Ele Rune instead of Mental Dex.
But hey, at least you all didn’t get shafted as hard as Ranged Hunter got shafted for the Past like 2 months lol

the ranged hunters critting chimera for 1500 on targets with dreamstate? those guys? the absolute suffering they must endure.
What is Dreamstate? And 1500 in PvE is a small crit overall compared to Destro, Fire Mage etc…do you know the state of Ranged Hunter dps in PvE?
Also I’m looking at the number 1 Hunter in PvE on Warcraftlogs and he’s max hit on Grubbis Chimera was 1344…so not really 1500.
Shamans have never been a FOTM class (until this phase)… the majority of shamans play the class because we enjoy it. Be it good, bad or ugly. P1 when we were dogwater, we played shaman, the start of P2 when we were dogwater, we played shaman. Please don’t lump the fotm retards in with those of us who legitimately enjoy the shaman class and just don’t want to see it ground into dust

last hunter i teamed with had a pvp 1479 chimera in my details. lone wolf is pretty good.
Yea Lone Wolf solo is really great when they get in your deadzone.
then dont solo? hunters have always been a high skill class once the training wheels come off and other classes can gapclose at 30+. nothing changed there, the good hunters got better the bad hunters are still nonfactors and all is right in the world.
i was pretty terrified that all the p1 trashcans would continue to be a high threat all the way to 60 but bliz did good.
