Who the f cares about dmf? Parsers of 25 and 40 lvl 10 man raids? Also ashevale… lol. It barely has 1 raid filled all the time. Losing it just gets you 400 rep less.

It’s the truth, all one has to do is check damage logs after one dies. Lavaburst plus instant cast chain lightning with clearcast rune plus earth shock. And of course don’t forget chain lightning hits 3 targets at once and if all crit that’s mega damage.
Oh you mean paladins that have no base ability that slows, an interrupt every 1 min whereas shamans is 6 secs. All you do is kite them around, purge blessing of freedom which is a 20 second cooldown, and just laugh while shaman casts frost shock than runs away and casts chain lightning or lava burst. And if a paladin bubbles, you just run away till it fades.
Nobody cares about 1v1.
Which is not doing anywhere near 4.5k.
Tell that to all the shaman SoD streamers that stream those numbers and off course I’m talking about including the additional damage from the initial Lava burst. Even they chuckle and admit the damage is broken.
Ok so you’re counting a lava burst, a free lava burst(5% proc) and a 3x crit overload CL followed by an earth shock. Do you know how many globals that is? After you get 20 yds in range to flameshock? On a spec that gets shut down by a hunter pet or curse of tongues? If you had complaints about WoE I’d take you seriously but you’re just bad.
Curse of tongues hits paladins as well we can’t dispel it. The only class that counters are druids and mages. And has for hunters, every class has that problem. Hunters are built to kill casters and to kite. And don’t forget enhancement shamans which had a big dmg buff recently along with being very tough and can tremor totem the locks fear, frost shock to slow, or earth shock to interrupt, and just destroy, plus Stromstrike.
Yeah, WoE needs some type of tweak so it is not super strong in pvp.
Tremor can be killed.
20 yds on frost shock, it DRs and can be dispelled. Melee range on earth shock if you run the tank rune WoE.
More than half the classes do too much damage. The problem with enhance is that it does a lot and can actually live more than 3 seconds.
I don’t understand why stormstrike is a problem aside from double rockbiter. Just limit us to 1 rockbiter.
Just remove the HyperAllyTearMakerLaserBeam from the game and shamans will be balanced.
See even you agree that shamans need a bit of nerfing. And we can include earthbind totem for an aoe slow, plus to destroy a totem including tremor or earthbind, you have to manually target and use a swing or GCD ability to destroy it, meanwhile the shaman is just pounding you into the ether. And yeah, Shadow priests and destruction locks are insane, I’ve been hit with a chaos bolt crit of over 3k and seen videos of 5.7k crit chaosbolts on bosses.
The majority of shamans posting regularly agree to nerfing WoE. Saying that damage is too high is laughable, most classes are doing the same. SPriest is still the strongest.
