Shaman Tanks Karazhan 11/11 World First

Not the best prediction by me. Glad you took an interest in my account to go hunting!

I remembered your name and attitude

Awh, thatā€™s cute.

Bold of you to assume sillinessā€¦

Oh I know, heā€™s a complete goober. Thatā€™s the thread that made him obsessive with me. I gotta toss him a bone from time to time, else heā€™d get no attention on here at all.

Bench material 2nd.

I kid. I play a hunter so I would be vouching for that 5% even if you are deadweight!

Nope.

They dont ā€˜outgearā€™ the content if they are continuing to progress against that content.

A Shaman requires that content to be obsolete, their raid to be gear capped, or the content to be nerfed, to do what a Warrior, Druid, or Paladin would do.

Its just math. Shaman will never be progression tanks, because they are not tanks.

Whats the difference between a progression tank and a nonprogression tank?

A progression tank, is one which can tank the boss, at pre-nerf, without having farmed that tier already.

So the guilds that are 8/10 have no progression tanks?

They havenā€™t tanked 2 bosses successfully, and theyā€™re gearing up still while attempting.

No, they do. Because they have Warriors, Druids, or Paladins.

Classes which have tanked that content, without farming it for months.

Itā€™s real simple, just apply some thought to it.

I think youā€™re making this up.

Do you have a source for this definition?

The role of tank is fairly generic. You hold threat and donā€™t die.

If you can only tank content after its nerfed or been on farm (due to your real tanks) for months, so you outgear the content, your not a tank.

Your just a meme that can hold threat for a bit.

rofl

No, they have Warriors, Druids, and Paladins.

CLASSES, which have full cleared the content without nerfs, and without farming for months.

So, shamans arenā€™t ā€œprogressionā€ tanks.

Donā€™t think anyone claimed they were though.

I am really starting to wonder what the point of this thread going forward is anymore. Seems like it is the same argument going around and around in a circle.

If you cannot tank progression, you arent a tank.

No.

Tank is a generic term. Hold threat and donā€™t die. Thatā€™s the official word from Blizzard.

Your made up term ā€œprogression tankā€ is whatever definition you want.
