I keep reading contradicting points about enhanced shamans in wpvp. 1. They are op or nearly op with their two wolves or 2. Even with their two wolves they are not good. Can someone enlighten me please as to which is correct?

Enhancement is extremely OP, don’t listen to anyone that tells you otherwise. Took only 3 of them to almost take down a Ret yesterday, was crazy

Enhancement dps shamans are not OP. They lack gap closers and cc outside of wolves. They require decent amount of time-on-target to build maelstrom charges. Enh shamans have extremely rng burst and requires build-up with maelstrom. They don’t have amazing heals.
That said good players and good gear can make them powerful. Their wolves die easily to a geared player but while the wolves are alive, they are nearly op.
Enhancement tank shamans are good into melee and limited into range dps similar to elemental tank shamans.

Enhancement shaman can kill a ret open world wich is cool… I watch the dueling tourney vids and the fight is not what you would expect. They just kite the ret into oblivion.
I would imagine they have issues with range, using the tank rune (having it active, not just on) limits you ranged interrupt… Limits all range in general except totem projection.
Enh is garbage. Zirene RUINED it. They need full bis pve gear with MoM to be able to actually hurt someone. And even with that they have a good chance of dying before ever getting to the target.
Enh tank…laugh off melee, get melted by ranged.
dw enhance isnt in a very good spot at all in pvp and only 2hnd enhance with very good gear are successful atm.
unless youre talking about tank shaman which is a whole other can of beans.
the 2 hand shaman that ive seen successful are one with mom and a few with the totem weapon from naxx.
all others seem to be very poor atm with or without wolves.
