Shaman Ghost Wolf Ability bugged in Warsong Gulch

Ever since TBC started I’ve been unable to cast Ghost Wolf immediately after stepping on the outside boundary from either base in Warsong Gulch. There’s a few second delay sometimes up to 10 seconds before I can cast Ghost Wolf, when I’m already well beyond the exit. I keep getting the “Can only use outside” error. As you can imagine, this is an issue when the games are heated.

This bug did not exist in Classic Wow. For a fact. I know exactly where the outside/inside boundary is for both bases in every exit and I’ve been reliably casting Ghost Wolf all the way to rank 14. Why would this bug exist in TBC? Fix it.

I know what you’re talking about but the client takes a bit of time for it to register than you are outdoors. The reverse is true too. You can maintain ghost wolf for a little bit even though you are indoors (right after entering from outdoors).

I am pretty sure it has always been like that.

This bug was in Classic Classic as well. Happened to my Druid all the time.

I always thought it had something to do with batching but it seems like that isnt the case.

Something interesting to think about is that when you enter the water, you are instantly dismounted and reduced to swim speed. No delay whatsoever.

I wonder if blizzard could take that bit of code and apply it to indoor outdoor situations.
