Test in prepatch, try it out. If youre coming from mage you might find that you dont have as many tools to play keep away but Ele is fun. Enhancement has a unique feel from other melee and is visually quite stunning. Resto is often desired in content like arena and raids. There is a lot to like in this class, even if there are some pains along the way.
Its a fun class imo. Its got great lore behind it, it looks cool, the armor is usually nice looking. Theres a reason people stick by it despite the pains we sometimes feel. Give it a go, have fun with it
