Shadows rising "leak"

I feel as though this is fake, they need Turalyon for their upcoming Light versus Void expansion that is surely coming down the pipe.

The revenge plot and justice for Teldrassil is confirmed to be over, and I don’t want to spoil anything, but things have been datamined and the things we’re getting in Shadowlands are pretty damn insulting. Seems like they didn’t hear our complaints at all and they did the complete opposite of what we’ve been asking for.

I guess Blizzard wanted to eliminate any competition to Anduin’s stranglehold on Alliance leadership that’s actually qualified for the job.

so everyone?

More characters should kill more people. 4th war is most bloodless one. Like it was friendly brawl where no one actually died.

True talk, if Turalyon dies, at this point, that would be no big loose, it would be sad after 20 years of waiting, but it would in no way a big meaningfull loose.

I agree wholeheartedly - I’m glad some people are actually (assuming the leak is real) dying.

The only actual, proper death we’ve had this xpac has been King Rastakhan - and pretty much everyone saw that coming. That literal who LFD guy dies in the 8.1 campaign, and Zelling carks it (again). Everyone got spectacularly baited by Mekkatorque in 8.1, but by 8.2 everyone pretty much realised he’d be rezzed by mechagnomes by some point.

I’m pretty sure that’s it. How absolutely boring. And, provided this is true, Turaylon dying OFF SCREEN (LMAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOO) will be a hoot. As I’m typing this, I’m like 100% it’s not real. No way they’ll do it.

The thing is that it’s just bad that Sylvanas and Nathanos kill off so many characters just so they can be redeemed later. It just feels so pointless.

That’s a good point.

Although, let it be said, if Sylvanas gets ā€œā€œredeemedā€ā€ in any way shape or form, Nathanos definitely will not.

I think both of them will. The best opportunity to kill Nathanos off was 8.1, but if they’re ready to throw the entire revenge plot of the Night Elves away to keep him alive then I definitely don’t think that he’s going down.

I reckon Nathanos dies in SL - he’s the Yazma to Zul (well, Zul dies, but still).

? Again, not everything revolves around night elves. The progression of night elf vengeance does not hinge on Nathanos’ life. Lordy claudy.

Well, I still think if they are willing to throw away such a highly requested storyline like the Night Elf revenge plot (which was very highly demanded and had a lot of potential) just to keep Nathanos alive then he definitely won’t be going down another time, but hey that’s just me :woman_shrugging:

Personally I think after the last ā€˜leak’ fiasco they had with Before the Storm (practically the whole book being shown as a preview) they will stay pretty tight on this one and Amazon will be watching their butts not to repeat the same mistake twice so I’m calling BS on this so called leak.

They are not throwing it away. Nathanos’ life does not hinge on that plot line. Yes, it is just you indeed, please see sense.

Considering that it was the entire revenge storyline, you can indeed say that Nathanos surviving and getting a victory on his own ruined it for the Night Elves, but again opinions are different.

While I have a hard time seeing an interesting way they could have Sylvanas killing Turalyon, just because it happens doesn’t mean it won’t be impactful.

If after the Legion launch 7.0 story with Light’s Heart and someone said ā€œIllidan will kill herā€ people wouldn’t have been surprised but probably wouldn’t have thought much of it. The WAY Illidan killed X’era however, and what X’era tried to do, that was very impressive and worthy of a death.

So while I think it’s likely Sylvanas killing him would be another random checkmark of evul, the way it may go down could very well be worth it.

You still have any kind of trust in Blizzards writers after Battle for Azeroth?

Oh. I don’t like Turalyon but killing him off in a book (or at all) would be very insulting. Still very angry about the Lich King thing. I wouldn’t want anyone to feel the way I am about losing a favorite character.

It’s a cop out for Alleria. She would end up going crazy because Sylvie is a big meanie and killed her husband…not because she accidentally a void lord and lost control.

I’m certainly willing to see Turelyon go, if we get rid of Nathanos as well. It’s only fair.

Death to the human boy-toys stealing all our elf ladies!
