Did I ever say that it is so broken it cannot be dealt with? any class with dot will counter this. This does not change the fact that if you do not have a dot going on them, this combination of racial and class are too strong compared to ANY OTHER combination of ANY OTHER CLASS with ANY OTHER RACIAL. This needs to fall in line with other racial ACTIVES at the bare minimum be on a GCD so there is a second of the abusers to be stationary
To be fair, itâs had various iterations also M+ which is probably where it shines the most hasnât been around for six expansions.
Also lets not dismiss the impact it has currently with Rogues and their ability to brainlessly kill you with 2 buttons on live.

Oh boohoo, so a few classes can use it cleverly. That doesnât change the fact that you can adapt. The second their gone why isnât consecration dropped? When your ambushed why arenât you bubble healing or stunning? If you have 3 holy power why arenât you using your aoe hammer spender?
This is like when people called for regenerating to be nerfed/removed. Yes its powerful. Yes in the hands of certain classes it is even stronger. But that doesnât mean it needs to be removed or changed, use your own skills cleverly and deal with it.

Are you daft? They canât full reset that many times because dots pull one from stealth. Thatâs why dwarf is best racial! You canât even bleed a dwarf rogue to keep him unstealthed, he can stoneform and stealth ANY TIME HE WANTS!
Shadowmeld has been the one constant for nelfs since vanilla. Nelfs just wouldnât be nelfs without it.
I didnât say Shadowmeld was broken. I said the MDI would disagree with it being situational at best, and that other classes have far better aggro dropping abilities, to which the person then admitted he was wrong.
Quite literally all I have said in this thread was that Shadowmeld does provide people advantages in some forms of content, especially higher up. No where once did I say it is busted, or that it must be nerfed, or that I want it nerfed. I have no desire for Shadowmeld to be nerfed.
consecrate drops under my feet not anywhere at will, all 3 classes can easily distance themselves in an instant and cast macro. IDK what 3 aoe hammer spender is but I assume you talk about divine storm, also, itâs around me in about 6yard radius if i remember correctly, nowhere near enough. I am not talking about ambush damage here, I rarely get killed off an opener especially by a druid or hunter, this is just about their synergy of escaping or resetting a fight which can make them delay fights for a VERY long time and keep resetting every 2 mins

not if he is in combat he canât, but with shadowmeld yes he can. Dots can cancel shadowmeld stealth sure, and what do ppl without dots do exactly? 0 counterplay for a 1 button macro instant cast for a complete fight reset where they can also go and heal to full and wait out their cooldowns to re-engage

which I mentioned before, aside from the racials that give you a short period of damage buff, all other active racials ARE on GCD. shadowmeld is a defensive should be a on a GCD. or lets remove gcd from all racials now too?
when I am doing wqâs on my bear and some hordie drags a buttload of mobs in my swipe and runs off to not even help as he tries to use me to WQ for him, shadowmeld is a wonderful tool to return mobs to the tool

true, and I dont see why it would need to be off the GCD for this occasion
I am gonna have to say no on the nerfing of Shadowmeld. When on my NE druid, I heal for my guildmates, and shadowmeld is insanely useful when learning new dungeon fights. If it looks like a wipe, I scurry away to a safe spot and meld, save my group from having to walk back to where ever we wiped.
So, again. No.
I like shadowmeld so much, that when i play on an alt I keep using other racial trying to use shadowmeld.
Doesnât help that i have like 4 other nelves.
