Once we return back to Azeroth, a new evil will be here.
You will be a curse upon Azeroth. Children will wake from sleep screaming at the thought of you. Your legacy will be death and madness.

Time jump to the StarCraft timeline. Chromie has already confirmed it exists and she has seen it.
It was a 2 second clip in a release video for a dead game, therefore we need to make a whole expansion out of it.
Would be cool if we come out a few hundred years in the future.
The world has moved on and healed while we were gone.
Some see our return as a blessing, the return of legends. Others see our return as a curse, that we are the source of Azerothâs troubles.
We would have to find our place in the world, rebuild reputations and alliances.
Could work as a total reboot of the world.
After Shadowlands Blizzard will send our characters to WoW Classic, where theyâll start the story all over again.
I think he meant the perception is different, Azeroth follows a certain time, but in Shadowlands, time isnât a concept, so while in Azeroth 1 year has passed, the same happened in the Shadowlands, but the souls that reside their felt thousands of years.
âŚand through a mysterious portal, a large crowd wiitnessess an odd, and exceptionally unsettling sight: A small man, dressed as a dragon.
As this small man emerges, he surveys his surroumdings and the crowd with a deadly, steely glare and sadly shakes his head.
âBe it ever so humble, thereâs no place like homeâ, he mutters as he, with a steady hand, umsheathes a large axe from his back.
He hefts his axe, deeply stained with the blood of demons, gods, and all manner of unimagined creatures. With a sense of pride, he slowly traces his gauntleted thumb down the axeâs razor edge. Again, he surveys the bucolic scenery before him and sighs, a profund sense of regretful glee evident in his posture.
âI am Huggywuggles! Azerothâs most fearsome and terrifying Gnome Arms Warrior! You should fea-â.
He is cut short by the gales of laughter bursting from the gathered crowd.
The short man looked as of he wanted to cry
The Venthyr had told him of this. Even Sylvanas had warned him just before he removed the Banshee Queenâs head from her shoulders: Azeroth is not, and never would be, the same as it was; as he remebered. Time passes differently in the Shadowlands. He would be a relic; a dusty, most likely forgotten footnote in the pages.of Azerothâs history.
Well, thatâs what they said. And he remebered the good old days. He remembered the blood of friend and foe that had flowed so freely across the land. Huggywuggles remembered he had wanted to rule from high upon a veritable mountain of skulls.
And while the Horde and traitorous Alliance were clearly no more, HE was. And as he charged headlong towards the crowd of leering, unsuspecting victims, he shouted, for the Azeroth that had been, for the Azeroth that he would see again, âGNOOOOOOOOOOOOMESTORMMMMMMM!â
And with the first splashes of blood across his dragom-visaged face, Azeroth began to be born again. Be born anew.
next expansion is Cybercraft: 2077
Unless you use a DeLorean.
Iâm loving these ideas. Iâd like a time jump over going in the past.
Yes, weâre gonna go back in time and meet our Classic selves and warn everyone of the dangers to come. Then weâll be going back to our timeline and into the new Azeroth.
Donât forget to bring Garrosh with you
Is that where Blizzard then combines Starcraft with WoW?
Or would it be Diablo with WoW?
â100 years have passed ⌠but all the existing zones are exactly the same as theyâve always been and just one island off to the side is actually set in the new era.â
It also makes it more difficult to suspend disbelief. Sure, story has never really been the strongest point of MMOs because it has to give way to gameplay, but itâs often made more artificial and âgameishâ than it has to be simply because itâs easier to wrap a continent in an expansion and then toss it on a shelf to gather dust when the next expansion rolls around.
