With scripted Q&A.

9.2 is your most important patch in over a decade, Blizzard. Please don’t screw this up.

Clark we weren’t wrong. While I saw a handful of people saying mid-2022 flippantly most of us including me firmly believed Februrary/March/April as likely months for 9.2 and that’s long what we’ve been saying. (And we based this on the ~8 month release cadence from 9.0 to 9.1, the only question was, if it was a rushed closure to SL (as opposed to stuffing that in a 9.2.5 patch via non-raid means) whether that would delay them further, still most of us figured they’d have to rush out something within 1st quarter 2022)

They still haven’t announced a date and even once they do they can push it back if they want to so I wouldn’t be crowing quite yet if I were you. Then again I suppose you have little choice. The pro-Blizzard crowd around here has been taking L after L so inventing a strawman out of the opposition and declaring victory is about the only option open.

Let’s see if us “doomsayers” (actually just realists who have observed Blizzard over enough time we can make reasonably accurate predictions and people who love the game but are fed up with the bad direction in all respects) are right about 9.2 being the wrap-up or if they try and hide it by burying the actual wrap-up in a 9.2.5 say in a cinematic or questline instead of a raid.

Just realized i’m gonna be at a meeting when the vid drops, big sad.

If they did announce 9.2 going to the PTR next week, I have to wonder how many streamers currently playing certain other games (one of which has had its next expac delayed to early December) would come jumping back on the boat for the subs and views.

Although I will be tempted to play it, I think Ill wait a bit and see what the reviews and input are like.

But will be interested to see the interview anyhow for whatever stuff they want to drip feed to us.

Name it:“9.2 Jaina, Sylvanas and Anduin—the triangular love finally goes to an end”

giv class sets.

Leak: a large cellular monster rips across the lands both in Shadowlands and Azeroth. It is multi-colored, hates any type of sarcasm, reads all chats and if it finds anything that a 5 year old will find offensive will immediately ban the account of the offender who typed it. To Fight off this beast adventurers are pointed to the in game store and for only $2.99 can buy Red spray cans that they must use across both realms to find anything they deem offensive so the monster can come and rip it off of the face of WoW?

am i close? :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh wow this kinda came a little early was expecting it around December but this is nice. If this is actually going to be the last patch of this expansion, we can expect the next expansion reveal around March?

Those parasites chase anything that makes them cash as that’s all they really care about so you can bet they will come crawling back.

I’ve been saying between Jan and Feb some time after they come back from their holiday vacation or around the time they would of had the online Blizzcon

As long as they are for those that like the void look . THose that want to get rid of the void aspect of the race have already gotten enough already .

REally I don’t think anyone is going to be upset by it other then someone making their first ever post to try to stir the pot.

THey are doing the 9.2 announcement tomorrow . Maybe they will announce then when the ptr for it starts. I doubt they would announce when the ptr for 9.2 is before the actually announce what it is about .

Pleas, don’t be another system.

Don’t really care about the story, or the exact kind of geegaws we’ll be collecting, what specific shape of rep or currency we’ll be grinding, what kind of raids or dungeons or armor sets there’ll be, etc.

What I’m interested in is if Blizzard really has learned from, and is trying to correct, the anti-player-quality-of-life design of this expansion. And the last expansion. And significant swaths of the expansion before that. And the expansion before that.

If you can show me that you’re taking that seriously and that it wasn’t too late to change anything by the time you had this “sudden realization” that seems to happen on cue about midway through every expansion, then sure, I’ll be interested in collecting up my pile of MacGuffins to turn in to the MacGuffin Guy until I get enough GuffMaccins to buy a Guff.

The Cosmic Realm is called the Gardens of Life not the Lifelands…

Gardens of Life is the Cosmic Realm of Life to counter the Shadowlands.

Incidentally since the Naaru are supposed to be created by Elune who is a member of the Pantheon of Life that means they came from the Gardens of Life despite currently being Entities of Light or Shadow.
