That would be funny.
Playerbase : “When is the release date?”
Blizzard : “We already told you on Veteran’s Day. You just aren’t able to decode it yet.”

XD that would be blizz for you. But just a guess seeing it falls in line with Blizzcon then a release would be
paraphrasing: “Devs wanted to bring back tier sets for a long time.”
No. This is not a credible claim. They could have made tier sets whenever they pleased… it was a deliberate action to remove them.
I am not normally very critical of Blizzard, but right now their is only a limited amount of trust left in the bank. Not enough trust for me to believe everything without questioning it.
Welp, you heard the elf, Blizz. Scrap the months of work you’ve already put into the patch and make sure all of those “guy attempting to remake reality” plot threads are just dropped, not like that’ll cause any issues. Put all of your efforts into returning us to Azeroth a month or two sooner so we can start complaining about that instead.
My heart sank… I do not think I have it in me to do yet another massive grind. Grinding is one thing, massive grinds is another… and this expansion has been far more grindy than all other expansions. Now we have to grind a language… to be able to talk to the vendors… I really don’t think I have it in me to do it again…
Replace Anduin with a tomato that has arms & legs.
Good enough.
so at the end of all this they say we got more news when the time is right.
i find that both funny and disheartening now is the right time and they should not be holding anything back lay it all out now
True, they did a good job on that one.
Please, quit doing this game.
Sincerely,
A player.
Well at least you guys finally killed this nightmare. So much potential. Instead of focusing and doing right. You just punt.
“We’ve listened to feedback” Actually means, “We’re hearing what ideas you have to offer to the table, given that they are stupid ideas we have elected to ignore it.”
We’ve gone down this road a dozen times, and every single time it has ended in complete incompetency; How can you honestly say this and earn our trust at this point? You can’t, there is no feasible way. So let me get this straight.
You listened to feedback huh? Okay lets break it down, we didn’t like the fact that conduits were gated behind a covenant system, at least in my eyes I dont like that, just give us the damn conduits. Now instead of just making that system function better, you decide to rework it as a new system in 9.2 called Cypher of the First Ones ~ So its another gated grind that earns what is it? POWERS, something that our beloved Covenants have a current balance problem with that you still cannot get right. Do you not see a problem here?
Your allowing us to have 2 Legendaries FINALLY after we have all been saying that this feature should have been in the game at the start of 9.1 and you now all of a sudden decide to do it at the announcement of the “Final Chapter of this Story” Gee! who didn’t see that one coming! I certainly didn’t /sarcasm.
You get rid of the Torghast grind only to introduce ANOTHER grind instead to upgrade our Legendaries. You might as well of just left it alone.
Not to mention you have taken some classes and made an absolute wreck of them. My Demon Hunter to this day still is a glass cannon that gets one shotted in PVP because you fail to see that you have pruned us at the start. So Class Balance is non existent as Arcane Mages are sitting high and mighty on the mountain.
9.2 all I can say is, you better ****ing WOW us, or its FF14 thats gonna take the rest of your subs.
EDIT: Forgot to ask, where’s that Community Council you touted about???
Due to your hiring practices. Blizz has gone full ree ree.
Affirmative action hires. It really is that simple.
man, reading this makes me so sad for how full of unhealed inner issues humanity is nowadays
Then go to another game and grind some trees or something lol
Well I can’t say I totally disagree with that! BFA was marketed as the big Alliance V Horde expansion and started that way too! Why couldn’t they just let the Old Gods have their own expansion!? But, no, we got old gods, and shadowlands…and now even Blizz is running from shadowlands XD all because they didn’t give us what they said they were giving us! XD
Indeed, it is becoming too undorunded. Lore shmore, seems out of context.
Cool deal guys, glad to see something on the horizon…a long way off, but still, it gives me something to look forward to.
Just some words of advice though: if you want this patch to be enough of a success to get you to 10.0, I’d suggest doing two things:
Having three to five quests to do every week for a few months is not fun, it’s choppy, and breaks up the story and gameplay so bad it kills any tension or sense of urgency built up. Especially if you’re also doing raids and mythic+ instanced content on top of it.
My recommendation would be take from things like the Molten Front in Cataclysm, only polish it up. Maybe instead of random dailies that, as your rep increases, things change ever so slightly, we have a structured quest line centered around each day, or every three days.
These chains could be anywhere from 3 to 7 quests long, and each set builds from the set before. If you miss a section, you can complete them at your leisure, or you can grind them out as you see fit. The point is let players progress at their own speed, but also give us something to do every day besides the same tired world quests, or dailies.
If you do this right, it’ll set the tone for future expansions and patches, which brings me to my next piece of advice.
I know there are a group of players out there screaming for more content as soon as possible, and they’re loud, and really insistent, but I’m begging you to not listen to them.
Take your time, polish it up, and get it right. At the end of the day, taking more time to fully complete a patch will net you more players than not. We are all passionate about this game, and we want it to succeed so we can keep experiencing it.
Some of us are, quite frankly, terrible at expressing that, and it comes out as anger and frustration, and that leads to canceled subscriptions when they feel like their voices aren’t being heard.
That having been said, don’t let those angry voices deter you from getting the job done right. Take your time, but remember to communicate regularly. The more we see of your process, the more confident we’ll feel about the content being made.
I want this game to succeed, and fight through this troubled time. WoW can survive this, it just needs the proper attention and care.
Thank you developers, for making a game worth playing, and I hope that things are looking better for both our sakes.
PLEASE re think the gating of flying…a lot of us like to see the world from above…it is a small minority out there who actually WANT to be grounded for any period of time.
No faction war please, dead horse, its beyond boring now and has been done 3 times already, flopped horribly the last time they did that.
