No, seriously, there’s a slim chance that it could be done in an interesting way and not feel like an arbitrary slog just to hold players back for the sake of #engagement. I also hope that that’s the case…I just have zero faith that it will be.

Ugh, this really bums me out. I truly wanted to be wrong. I wanted to think I was just being overly negative and cynical after being disgusted with this company back in July. I genuinely was hoping 9.2 was going to be something incredible to pull me back in. Sadly… it just looks as bad as I had predicted it would. sigh

the tier sets look really dissapointing, they lack the epic class fantasy of past tier sets, i dont think i will be reupping my sub. maybe i will be back for 10.0. So long WoW

I am sorry–they can’t even use either of those things as an excuse. Like it’s clear they had time to come up with this garbage, they could have done better. This is just lack of creative vision and lack of understanding about what their playerbase wants/cares about.
The spiel at the end about something for everyone…it’s like why do i want to continue grinding the same 9, i mean 10 dungeons for another year…and only one new raid and zone? ugh. solo indie devs put out more interesting content more quickly than they seem capable of doing.

I am happy with them getting rid of covenant campaigns and renown, as well as time gated systems. Bonus points if we get to keep some form of torghast for the rest of the expansions. Without it necessarily been needed for progression (i.e not legendaries from it)
