Here’s how to check your email headers to make sure it’s not spoofed.
Is this evidence of Shadowlands failing?
I’m certainly noticing alot less players around today.
I did it. It’s legit.

Greetings, traveler! At Blizzard, every voice matters, and we want to hear yours! This survey is part of an ongoing research study, and is your chance to let Blizzard know what you think.
However, with great power comes great responsibility.
We do ask that you keep this survey and all of its contents confidential. We have selected you in particular for this mission, so please do not:
Forward this survey to anyone else
Post the link to the survey online
Share screenshots of the survey on social media
Stream images of the survey
If you can agree to these simple rules, we would love to hear from you! The survey is expected to take no more than 15 minutes. *This question is required.
I agree
I do not agree and do not wish to continue with the survey
THIS, this is what I was referring to earlier. I may or may not receive a survey myself, but I find it VERY interesting that they dont want you sharing the fact you are filling it out, or how you are filling it out. It is very suspicious.
And technically I am doing nothing wrong by posting it because I haven’t forwarded it, posted a link, shared a screenshot or put up any images… It’s just a copy and paste.
Interesting I’ll be keeping my eyes out for that email if I get one.
I honestly think it is just stat gathering. It starts off with:

Italy
Canada
Russia
United Kingdom
New Zealand
South Korea
Australia

Spain
Poland
China
Brazil
Germany

What are the consequences if someone does it. Account ban ??
Telling people what they can and can’t do with information has been around since the start of the internet.
It’s literally what the whole terms of service is about usually.
Because they already requested you not to share and you have, so it would be understandable if they removed the post.
They aren’t “trying to silence you” you literally just did the exact thing you expressed at the beginning of the post yo uwere told not to do lol.
How is it shadey asking people to complete a survey and not share it?
I don’t understand the big mystery. I received the same questionnaire for BfA. Haven’t checked if I have this one yet.
I think they are trying to obtain statistically unbiased results and they are acutely aware that the opinion of their customer base revolves around group think.
My wife got one. She has been playing for 3 months.
I have been playing for 16 years and they ignore little old me.
Blizzard must be panicking about sub numbers already…
Shadowlands is boring…in my opinion.
Everything seems like a chore. Werld quests take forever to complete. Nearly every one of them has a bar quota to fill that takes forever.
The zones seem to be created in such a way that it takes twice as long to get around. I dunno. Maybe it’s just me. I’m on holidays atm and I can’t be bothered logging in.
Please please tell them covenants need to be buffed or changed to keep up with meta choices!
Well, unless you include your blizzard ID, character name, or email attached to your BNET account, basically anything that ties you to it, there isnt much they CAN do.
It would have been so much easier for them to just listen to the feedback they recieved in the first place. They have to be right. No matter the cost to the game and the millions of players. Their egos always come first. Or at least their fearless leader’s ego comes first.
A request isn’t a rule.
I havent done anything, I shared the fact someone else got one, I didnt get one, I didnt post mine, I didnt fill one out, I havent streamed the survey I didnt fill out, nor have I told anyone what they answers were to the survey I didnt fill out, or that anyone else DID fill out. So, I did not do anything they told me not to do.
As we get older and experience more and more things, we learn more things. I have learned, probably along with many, that when someone asks you questions, but then says “Dont tell anyone I asked you this” it usually means they are trying to hide something, or, are guilty of something, otherwise they wouldn’t ask it.
Realistically, who cares whether or not people know there is a survey going out? Who cares what the questions are, or how people fill it out? If people wish not to share, then they wont share. If they do wish to share, then they will.
