Which is still not reliable at all
âWanting to playâ has nothing to do with âbelieving it will existâ. Not for sane people who donât think their desires are reality.
Hereâs the bigger problem: from what Iâve read in the forums, many players wants a new game they call âTBCâ, but they have different ideas about what that thing they call âTBCâ is. Ideas that conflict with each other. There is no widespread support in the forums for one specific game.
That is Blizzardâs big problem: why bother creating a new game if 85% of players will reject it, saying âThat isnât TBC! That isnât what we asked for!â
So basically âyou think you do, but you donât?â
We saw how that worked out already.
My guess is that naxx will be pushed up in response to create boredom by the time, or shortly after SL releases to push people to retail while they wait for tbc.
This is like asking if Diablo 4 will be pushed back because of Shadowlands. Classic and Retail are most likely ran by completely different teams.
True, but a smart business would alternate releasing content for both games to limit dips in subs during content droughts. Example, SL release then have naxx come out 3 months later as SL hype dies down.
I suspect you are wrong on that one. Blizzard would be fools not to coordinate Classic releases with expected luls in retail content⊠and they are not fools.
We didnât know this at the time of your post but all servers will have AQ open on Oct 11th.
Probably no correlation at all. The teams are not the same. The timing isnât even close.
If delaying Shadowlands would delay anything, it is the announcement and release of Phase 6 / Naxxramas, and weâre not so far removed from the release of Phase 5 / AQ. While the super rushers are âdoneâ and raid-logging, not every realm has had as many weeks with the gates open, and a few donât have them open yet.
TBC wouldnât be for quite some time after that, most likely after the first patch (9.1), maybe even first half-patch (9.1.5) of Shadowlands.
Ah, hadnât seen that yet.
Any professional gambler looking at all the available evidence would consider betting on BC being released a very safe bet. The odds for a release are extremely high but no one can make a sure guess as to when or how.
