Say all the nonsense fluff you want. You’re playing wow because you like the feelings it gives you. You enjoy how the game makes you feel different things. If you didn’t like how the game makes you feel you wouldn’t play it. Plain and simple.
Does not compute. ![]()
That’s your issue, but there are a lot of people like me that don’t like world pvp, and we were in pve servers before they changed them. I hope they go back to pve & pvp servers and remove flying in the pvp ones. I’m tired of pvpers complaining about flying because half the players don’t pvp.
You’re right that I like how it makes me feel, you’re wrong when you attach enjoyment to why I play WoW or games in general.
To like something =/= to enjoy something. Plain and simple. You can call it nonsense fluff all you want, doesn’t mean anything to me that you’re young.
i think ion has already run off a great deal of those people. so many in fact that he probably could now get away with it.
Like = enjoyment.
Possibly, but I’m not sure he would risk it. If it ended up being another multi million dollar revenue loss it would probably cost him his job.
Here’s what I thing they should do:
Level 10- ground mounts
Level 20- faster ground mounts
Level 30- flying mounts assuming you have achieves where needed (WoD onward. Furthermore, Level 30 should be where content formerly at level cap should open up. This gives you 20 levels of meaningful progress in an “endgame” system.
Level 40- first flying speed increase
Level 50- next flying speed increase
They could do that but more likely is that they botch it completely.
KoffcorruptionKoff
Oh geez, something in my throat.
I meant to say that corruption was a (phrase employed by Taliesen).
How about we just stop complaining and enjoy an expansion without flying for once.
How about we all stop complaining and fix Pathfinder for once?
But, you’re confused. How could I be happy with what I “get”(past tense)
If you want to dance with words, please get feet. “Get” isn’t past tense. Tomorrow you will get to see the sun. Future. Boom. You described two things you’re happy with, state you’re happy with what you get (a firm and direct implication that it doesn’t matter what because you don’t have an “agenda”) then lie about it when quoted. You’re a bad person. I’m not dealing with you here anymore.
Possibly, but I’m not sure he would risk it. If it ended up being another multi million dollar revenue loss it would probably cost him his job
i don’t think anything would cost him his job. i think he is taking care of business in another way.
LOL Okay buddy. Anyone who calls someone else a bad person over their opinions regarding the state of a video game, after twisting the meaning of their statement, is the real bad person.
I can’t claim to be happy for anything, because I haven’t experienced everything there is in this life. That’s just an absurd ideation you brought into this thread on your own. I have experienced BfA without flying, and I have experienced BfA with flying. I know what BfA would be like without pathfinder/flying, and I know what BfA is like with pathfinder. I am happy with both options. You don’t get to conclude that I am happy with everything I get and then call me a liar when you find out that that is not the case. That’s just you being incredibly dense with semantics. You should read up on what is said about people who fixate too strongly on semantics.
edit: Cause to be clear, I would be very unhappy if we only had to reach max level and pay a sum of gold to get flying. I just know that that isn’t happening lol. Even if it does happen, I’d be happy to quit this game once it stopped being good for me. So yeah, I guess I would be happy no matter what blizzard chooses, because my happiness doesn’t hinge on their video game being a certain way.
@Drakulos, you’re only partially correct. It’s one of those cases where, if you enjoy an activity you like it, but not every person necessarily enjoys every activity they like. Enjoyment is a separate albeit commonly shared factor, you are treating it as a universally shared factor when it’s just a common factor. You don’t have to enjoy something to like it, but if you enjoy something you like it. For example, lots of soldiers like being soldiers, but it’s not because they think killing people is fun, it’s because they understand the meaning and significance behind what they are doing. Do you think there aren’t soldiers that like the military? I guarantee there are war-mongering soldiers that genuinely enjoy what they do in service, but I also guarantee you that there are many soldiers that don’t enjoy what they do, but like being a soldier because of what it means to be one.
More semantics.
Your comparison is one of the most irrelevant comparisons in the history of comparisons. You need to get off your high horse. This is a video game to be played for enjoyment. You’re playing it for enjoyment.
What are u a dictator?! Why should I play this game for the reasons you believe I should? I can think for myself. I am my own person. Thank you very much.
You need to take your head out of your behind.
edit: Like do you really understand how condescending and ignorant you come across as? Tell me why I should do what I do again, try it.
You’re not playing this game for reasons I believe. You’re playing because you enjoy it.
Me condescending? Coming from you that’s rich.
I’m really not playing because I enjoy it though. You can mind read all you want, but it just makes you seem like a crazy person.
Like I’d really believe any sane person would willing spend money and time on something they don’t enjoy. Get off your high horse and come back to reality.
That’s waht I am getting at. There is more to life than enjoyment. Curiosity and interest are separate things from enjoyment. You don’t have to enjoy something to be deeply captivated by it. Do you think all doctors enjoy operating on patients and saving their lives? It’s real vibes, it’s intense, life or death stuff, but it’s some of the most meaningful work humans do, so they for sure like their occupation even though it is really stressful and difficult.
Something something, doing stuff for more meaningful reasons than just being a hedonist.
