I’m 33, married, have a 16 month old son, and a full time job and I find SL just fine. It’s up to you how you manage your time. I also raid on a regular schedule.
Is it really like that? Oh my…
Good. People who expect the game to cater to their personal needs only make the game worse for everyone else.
I was looking forward to SL being “alt friendly”, but between stygia, anima, and sucking up to my covenant, I think this will be another “one active toon per faction” expansion.
With the limited caps of getting stuff per week I think it will end up being fairly alt friendly.
I honestly hope so. I’d much rather get my mains done for the week and be able to mess around on the characters I don’t raid on.
- New & Improved Bugs and Imbalance!
- More odd power concepts to keep everyone running in circles like hamsters!
- Sylvanas, cause she’s hot.
- More broken PVP. Let PVPers gear by PVP. Nerf it in PVE to keep everyone else happy too.
This is the impression I get. It appears to be their design goal, and its the feeling I get watching/talking to people on beta.
I am using vague word disclaimers because I don’t have beta. But everything seems to have some weekly cap to discourage having to play one main 80 hours a week. It looks to be a rather low barrier to reach that cap.
That’s good news, thanks.
Anything to prevent me from going outside during this global pandemic is fine with me. Let me and my gaming chair become one.
I don’t think it will be time consuming, just a bit of maintenance week to week. From what they say, the minimum required stuff will be done very fast weekly, and catch up mechanics will be strong. Most of time gating this time comes from lesser items being awarded.
It’s the same annoying time gate structure as BFA where you get rewarded for logging in every day and will start to run out of things to do after a long play session
They need to remove these damn time gates and let us farm to our hearts content
I agree, I started wow in 2004 when I was 13, I am 29 now and barely have time to commit so much play time to a game. The game has changed so much after MOP, I can barely have any motivation to play a whole expansion with all the stuff we have to do to be any good. Sucks but I guess this game is not for me anymore.
Agree. Since legion, the grind for more spells/being viable has become out of control. Why can’t we just play for gear from raids/pvp and enjoy the game. Apparently blizzard wants players to stay online 24/7 with the grind system which actually has an opposite effect. Only minority will play systemlands.
