Questzones dungeons ect. (standard expansion stuff)
Class changes by unpruning a lot of abilities.
Torghast, a rogue like tower that can be done with 1-4 players.
Probably a lot more that I can’t remember off the top of my head. The new maw zone sounded cool. It was supposed to be a dangerous questing zone with no inns ect. where as you progressed it got increasingly harder. (larger mob aggro radius, kills squads sent against you, ect.)
I would recommend googling shadowlands. There are many videos about it.
Dance studio and Path of the Titans are the two biggest features.
Torghast, and more generally the ideas of 1) “roguelike” scaling, extending, procedurally generated content, and 2) solo-or-multiplayer content.

Not sure how people can say this. Sounds to me like Covenants and building legendaries could potentially take a fair amount of work, and there could very well be some sort of power or mechanism tied to them that we have to maintain. We don’t have all the info yet.
Wouldn’t this be the same thing as that old god city in 8.3?
New customization. Enough customization where its allied race wise for dwarves (wildhammers) and farraki darkspear.
All original races races ( thats like 11 races).
The expanaion will probably set up for other features down the line like Im hoping class skins. Necromancer would be a great class skin by the end of shadowlands. Maybe an angel based on for demonhunters.
Allied races can be released in ither patches. They said not on launch so 9.1 we may see our first allied race of the expansion.

Do you mean the Horrific Visions? The 1-to-5-players aspect is similar, but the way they’re actually built is different. Horrific Visions are like the Chromie scenario: it’s the same each time, you’re just able to explore more of it each time. Torghast will actually change - I think the plan is that there will be some changes each time you run it, and some that are more periodic or seasonal variations.
(Of course either of these things could change by the time they’re live.)
Think of it as the BC 2.0.

Covenants, its all about covenants. Thats like basing a whole xpac around the garrison. WOD was great wasnt it?
