I think it could be a neat option! I like werewolves without a tail myself. I always wanted snow white fur for a Worgen, that’s my wish.

It makes perfect sense. Worgen aren’t werewolves, they are Blizz’s creation. And not even all werewolves in mythology had tails.
Worgen have never had tails in this game.
Because they never had them. For some to suddenly be running around with tails and others not is is just ridiculous.
And it shouldn’t be. People rage about how bad the storylines are then turn around with crap like this, saying it’s okay to ignore the lore. 
In this universe of lore there is. Worgen. Don’t. Have. Tails. Specifically said so by one of the writers.

however, most werewolves dont have tails… although worgen shouldnt fall int he category

Ok, if Worgen get tails, which was never been a thing for them in the lore, then I want Cat/Bunny Ears/Tails as a customization option on all races.

I miss when I would hit Battle Shout on my Worgen Warrior and do the howl emote. I stopped playing him once they took howl away from us.

A better alternative instead of random tails would be an upright position and maybe thicker legs for a counter balance.

Worgen is a magical form, not biological. So it could clearly be altered magically too, giving them a tail option.

In a way yes, in a way no. It is magical in that one’s metamorphosis into a worgen is magical and spiritual. However, it is biological in that your whole body is changed to that of a worgen, and your body remains (or shift to be) a worgen when you die. Worgen also remain worgen after death as spirits. So while the change from human to worgen is magical, you are spiritually and biologically a worgen afterwards.

Though, one could argue that the magics it was created by are not so easily changed. Elune used Goldrinn to create the worgen, and she created it just how she wants it. To alter that may not just be blasphemous, but painful as well.
Just stop. That makes no sense, Worgen have never had tails, there is no reason to give them tails.

As the Saberon rig has tails already animated, we may as well have them.
That or have a ragdoll physics-enabled tail object like how female pandaren have.
Worgen also had tail animations since cataclysm alpha, so there is precedent.
More customization options = more fun for players. It won’t hurt you for others to have the option to have a tail!

Saberon tails look awful and could be compared to really long turds hanging off their backsides.

Tread softly. I made the same argument for different colored humans: that we need lore to support them. I was called a racist.
You might be labeled a bigot of some tail-hating variety.
To be clear: I’m all for non-white humans, but I want some lore to show where they came from and why they are here. Also, non-white NPCs to reflect our new races of human.
