This is just my own personal experience. I’m asking for yours.
I played Shadow back in original MoP and got A LOT of hate all the way up until SoO when we finally became mediocre. I used to read H2P daily, swapped out stats, ran LFR to see what I could do to boost my dps. I experimented with everything and anything that would increase my dps and was so heartbroken that I couldn’t come up with a miracle. I have been testing Shadow in Beta and I am afraid that they are on the exact same path. In Beta 5 mans the Mage and Warlock were averaging 134 to 138k and I was at 86k dps with spikes into 120s,
For clarity I was only hitting DP with 3 orbs and not using MS at all. It seems to be a simplified rotation and it feels really clunky. Also, I did have MF glyphed so I could move but the glyph didn’t seem to work. There seems to be an issue with glyphs but this is not limited to only Priests.
Can anyone tell me about their experience? Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I know 5 mans may not be the best gauge because of the Shadow ramp up but so far I’m underwhelmed.
