I just pre-ordered the Epic version, just curious how long it takes before the Transmog set becomes available?. Perhaps a 24/48 hour thing after purchase?

The transmog set is a reward from a mission started by clicking on the spot right behind where you sit on the mount 
You have to complete that to get the transmog outfit.

Pretty sure you meant to say “Mission” instead of ‘missing’.

So it’s a mission to do on the mission table? I will admit I was confused when Pearl said Missing.
It is a quest that you get by clicking a spot that is on the mount that you get with the pre-order.

No. When you have the mount out, click the button behind your character. That will spawn an NPC with a quest. The reward from that quest is the transmog set.
