Back in Vanilla, it made sense for Shadow Form to be an activated ability because there was actually a functional reason why you might turn it off–eg, to be able to cast your healing spells. But now that it’s basically just a passive bonus with no downside (other than the aesthetics), I’m not sure why it even still exists. The 10% shadow damage bonus should just be baked into the spec at level 10, and then Voidform should be the new Shadow Form.
Did you just assume that I thought health and castbars didn’t follow the player? Really. If health bars functioned exactly like they do now, were if they’re in your immediate view they float over the player’s position, then what the character looks like holds little bearing on how you react. Unless you don’t use castbars for some reason.
Because if what you say is true, 3/4 of characters you play against would end up confusing you. Like Monks. All three specs can use the same weapon. Until they start doing anything you won’t know what to expect. Unless you’re like every other PvPer out there and do a quick inspect/assumption about their composition before the match starts.
But they dont have to use a glyph like this if they dislike it.
PVP should in no way be taken into account when it comes to decisions in a PVE game. Just disable the glyph in PVP and stop using pvp as an excuse to limit choices in a PVE game.
