Severe FPS Drops since 11.1.5

Yesterday I was getting a solid 60 FPS in both minimised and full-screen WoW in Undermine.

Today I’m getting around 50 minimised window and around 20-30 in fullscreen.

My graphics are set to 4/10. Usually I play with 8/10 or higher.

I understand the ability to turn the addon profiler has been removed with this patch. I understand there was speculation the addon profiler was causing FPS issues. I had a weakaura to turn it off, and I didn’t have FPS issues all of 11.1 to 11.1.5. Now I can’t turn it off, I’m suddenly experiencing FPS issues.

I understand Blizzard has said the profiler doesn’t cause FPS issues. Perhaps this is a coincidence, but in any case, something in the patch has caused my FPS to drop significantly.

I’m not sure if the CPU add-on profiler change was intended. Currently seeking some clarification on that.

I also am having server frame rate problems and would iike this fixed. Currently the game is unplayable unless I go with some low resoluntion mode. Just to clarify I have 120 gigs of ram intel I9 14th gen cpu. Asus ROG Z790 Dark Hero Motherboard, 4090 over clocked gigabyte 24 gig graphics and even with these over kill PC, I cant play this game.

Echoing this as well. Disabled all addons, but am still experiencing severe stuttering. FPS counter remains solid at 59-60fps, but the whole game (not UI) almost double-images for a bit.

I was getting 80-90 frames in dornogal, now, 45…disabling addons changes nothing.

Posting to keep visibility. Prior to 11.1.5 with custom (but the same) settings I was getting ~280 fps outside of Dorn, ~160 fps inside of Dorn, and ~300 fps in the raid.

I am now getting ~140 fps outside of Dorn, ~90 fps inside of Dorn, and last night I was getting ~100 fps in the raid but it was stuttery, especially on Gally

Bump for same issue. Mac mini Pro (M4 CPU). 40 - 50 fps in Dornogal yesterday pre-patch; 5 today even with all addons disabled. Come on Bliz, get this sorted!

You’ll want to report this in the other forum: Mac Technical Support

Replying to keep this open, but yeah, some problem. The FPS has gotten so bad that I can barely okay anymore. Was going find until Siren Isle’s patch, I think.

Here’s the answer to that:

This is 100% the profiling addon issue. My FPS dropped by over 66% since servers came up on tuesday and nothing has been changed or added.

They said they tested that aspect specifically and found almost no difference.

If you have data showing otherwise, contribute it to that thread for developers.

I would love to see the testing notes that they have. Because I have not changed anything on my computer or in game such as addon/WA.
Since the server have come up on tuesday my frames have dropped by 66%.

Most addons should need an update to be compatible with the patch. Did you skip updating them, because that might contribute to the issue.

I was experiencing horrible framerates after the patch, but it was only for one of my characters. I disabled all of my addons. I even deleted my WTF and Cache directories. Still insane lag and framerate spikes.

Ultimately, what fixed my issue was resetting my UI layout to the Classic or Modern preset. I have no idea why that would matter, but WoW is smooth as butter for me now. I’m wondering if the introduction of the Cooldown Manager to the default UI might have corrupted custom layouts after the patch.
