Plot twist. We got both. Sethrak Alliance and Saurok Horde.
I think we should get Arrakoa for Alliance and Sethrak for Horde.
I’d like to see playable Botani too.
Saurok and Saberon look BAMF, but they also make Murlocs look like Rhodes Scholars.
If they ever become playable, I demand Sethrak’s racial mount be a plainstrider.
A lot of the races I really, really want are the ones with different bodies like Naga and Ramakhen which will never happen due to not being able to mount or wear leg armour easily.
With Sethrak I’m convinced helms were the main issue.
I’ve seen proposals for Naga to be able to shape shift into their old Night Elf forms and back. Similar to Worgen 2 forms. That would address mount issues, when mounted they go into Nelf form. Leg armor will just have to disappear or change how it’s modeled in Naga form.
Tol’vir, eh, that’s a tough one as they historically never had a 2 legged form. But they are cool. Would love to play one.
I have it on good authority (my dad owns nintendo so watch out or you’ll get your battle.net taken) that in the pre-launch event for shadowlands two final allied races will be released!
- Sethrak for the horde
- Reverse Centaurs for the alliance with human bodies and an oversize bug-eyed horse head. Oh also reverse centaurs are fat and they wear a diaper at all times.

Sethrak would have a poison racial and a slithery snake racial so dodge and poison and an on use to entangle with another snake and it can stack go make a snake ball.
Not the stone ones, the flesh ones.
I mean, delete leg armour from them and delete mounts. They sprout wings and fly.
It won’t happen because Blizz won’t do it because smol indie company can’t afford it and too much work.

The flesh ones are quadrapedal too. It would look weird seeing a 4 legged Tol’vir on a gryphon. Totally not G-Rated. The inability to ride mounts would be a sticking point as mount collecting is such a big part of the game.
