Greetings travelers! :man_mage:

Set Sail has had a very successful and busy time in vanilla world of warcraft on anniversary!
We cleared Molten Core first week of release, went onto besting the dragons in the halls of Blackwing Lair and opened up the gates of Ahn’Qiraj where we battled the horde for control over Silithus and came out victorious with a massive guild effort and a Scarab Lord! :beetle:

We helped bring the defeat of the lich Kel’Thuzad and saved the world as we knew it then, since alot of things have happened and the guild has moved onto the Burning Crusade. Currently we’re raiding Karazhan, Gruul and Maghteridon’s lair but shortly we are expecting phase two to hit and with it Serpentshrine Cavern with Lady Vashj and Tempest Keep with Kael’Thas Sunstrider.

On the off time we have been staying busy farming heroics, leveling alts and encouraging as many guildies as possible to play arenas for competetive play and skill enhancing activities! We run battleground premades with guildies, we sit on voice and yap while crushing hordes for honor and resilience gear for arenas. We have a large arena community that resides within the guild, as we now sport multiple gladiators and many arena teams!

PvE Wise Set Sail currently has three 25 man raid groups going and we’re looking to recruit to help bolster our raid rosters!

:anchor: Tuesdays 6:30pm Server Time (Mountain) 8:30 EST: Speedrun and Parsing oriented competetive raid.

:anchor: Thursdays 6:00pm Server Time (Mountain) 8:00 EST: Relaxed and efficient one night clear raids.

:anchor: Sundays 2pm Server Time (Mountain) 4:00pm EST: Relaxed and efficient one night clear raids.

Sundays 2pm raid group is looking to recruit the following to make sure we’re ready for SSC & TK:

  • Restoration shamans x1

  • Feral tank druid x1 (Perhaps even two, one that can DPS offspec)

  • Elemental shaman x1

  • Disc and/or Holy priest x1

  • Restoration druid x1

  • Fury warrior x1

  • Affliction warlock x1

  • Destruction warlock x2

  • Arcane mage x1

  • Survival hunter x1

  • Beast mastery hunter x1

Currently we are recruiting every class and role for the future to come to make sure we have a healthy raiding environment where we fill raids on time!

We sport a very active social guild community where we recruit players who simply enjoy logging on to talk and socialize while leveling as well as people who are currently in the process of gearing up. Should you be interested in joining the raid but you’re lacking on the gear, don’t worry as we will make sure to take care of gearing you up! We take care and invest in our raiders to make sure they reciprocate!

Long-term goal for the guild is to clear Sunwell and progress onto hunting down Arthas the lich king in WoTLK! If you feel like joining us on this adventure feel free to reach out in this thread or ingame with the command /who g-Set Sail if you wish to get in contact with us!

Been raiding with these guys since P1 MC! Niko is a phenomenal GM and committed to keeping the vision of the guild going forward. Would love to have more gamers!

Currently sundays raid group is looking for a dedicated holy paladin that is wanting to game with a cheerful bunch of boys and gals! We start raid invites rougly 1:30 PM Server Time (Mountain) and official raid start is at 2PM!

We are willing to gear a fresh character up through Karazhan and Mag/Gruul groups that we host weekly, so don’t be discouraged! We’re all about community and much like all other guilds we are noticing the summer burnout where players decide to take a break.

Following classes are always a much needed resource in our raids:

  • Warlocks :woman_mage:
  • Hunters :bow_and_arrow:
  • Shamans :leaf_fluttering_in_wind: of all specs (Elemental, Enhance, Restoration)

We are actively recruiting every class and role, would you show a great attendance and performing well you will be able to secure yourself a raid slot into SSC/TK and beyond! Plan for this guild is to continue raiding into Wrath of the Lich King together, likely when Classic+ comes around we will bring our community there as well in some shape. :anchor: :sailboat:

We are of course welcoming new players who’ve returned to TBC! Feel free to join a very active community guild, we have plenty raids for catching up on gear weekly and we also run premade battleground to kit out alts/new players!

Feel free to reach out to us in game, I’m sure over the course of the summer a few players will take breaks and you can fit both into our raid groups. Given you can play Thursday at 6pm & Sunday at 2pm Server Time! Hit us up ingame and join us.
