Does anyone know what the best server will be to play on once the servers come back up for the cata pre patch?
Am going to be leveling a new character and don’t know where to make it. i don’t want to have to deal with login ques and stuff like that tho

Here’s the server list as of today, only the first 10 of them and Remulos will be options to pick from:

The biggest mistake would be rolling on the wrong faction for the server.
Only Grobbulus (which his RP) and Argual (which is OCE) have any sort of wPVP so that label isn’t really relevant. In the past, the servers labeled “PVP” tended to have more “try hard” players and the PVE labeled ones had more “chill” players but I don’t know what’s going on with Pagle and Benediction right now.
As for the queues etc Blizzard paid money to upgrade the infrastructure to allow more people on a server and this was tested in SoD so that should be smooth regardless of your choice.
So i mostly play on Pagle but was worried if a lot of people are logging in day one of the pre patch it would have a big que.
But if i don’t have to worry about a que then i will just stick to Pagle i think. was also thinking Remulos but it’s a low pop server so not sure if it would be a little to dead to play on.

We’ll have to see if there is a queue or not, I don’t recall having much of one at all at the start of Wrath, but it’s also been quite awhile at this point.
I’d say just play your server, honestly. If there are queues, it’d be temporary as a lot will come back for a new expansion, but they don’t all usually stay super long.
